the biggest threat to feminism isn't porn. it's not even the trans movement or anything to do with men. the biggest threat to feminism is whatever upends female solidarity. female solidarity is the only way out, and the biggest threat to female solidarity is white supremacy. racist (that includes anti-semitism, btw) white women will rip us apart and throw the pieces of our movement to the wind. this is an active political threat. white radfems need to get busy pushing anti-racist and anti imperialist rhetoric or we're lost. even lighter-toned women need to advocate against anti-blackness. misogynoir is killing this fucking movement.

I feel like trump looking likely to beat a more competent and qualified female candidate twice, both being the only times a woman has been a nominated presidential candidate, is a real blow to the psyche for all women and girls in the U.S.. It seems to deliver a message of "no matter how put-together, professional, and smart you are, you will always lose to the dumbest, loudest man in the room."

I genuinely thought kamala had to win. I wasn't naive enough to think it would be a landslide or anything but it truly seemed out of the realm of possibility that america could choose trump again. Even knowing just how woman hating and especially non-white woman hating the country is I still thought that logic would prevail because trump and the republican party broadly are so cartoonishly evil and anti democratic/anti human liberty (ironic for a so called party for freedom) that I thought no way enough people aren't willing to get him out of office. How utterly bleak lmao. It almost feels embarassing that I had faith america could be better than that. Where do you even start? The republican party is pro-fascism, pro-nra, pro stripping women of basic human rights and decencies. Pro censorship, pro lying and pointing the finger. Pro hipocrisy and fabrication. Pro russia. Pro Israel. It goes on and on. It seemed unfathomable an entire country of people who just witnessed this in a way you can't look away from or think your way around could possibly choose the same thing again. There's no angle you can look at the republican party or donald trump from that isn't objectively awful. Awful for Palestine, awful for democratic freedom, awful for women, awful for children and schools, awful for education. Truly I mean this what are people who vote red thinking? What do they think they will get out of this? And more specifically talking to democrats who decided to abstain or worse vote trump, truly what could you possibly be thinking?
