Title- Our Final Goodbyes (C! Karl x reader)

Backstory: Karl time travels to a medieval time where royalty rules. He meets the Royal Princess, Y/N while she was running through town trying to run away from some of the citizens who are trying to throw the family over. Karl helps her out and fixes the timeline, they slowly fall in love the whole time he is helping her out (I know it’s weird but Y/N never met a guy like this🙄). Before Karl travels back, Y/n wants to show her appreciation to him.

The village was finally at peace due to Karl’s help. The fact that a man who traveled from a glowing circle was able to solve the villagers’ problems more than my own parents who ruled the whole land amazed me. My parents thanked Karl by giving him a necklace in their honor. His smile was wide and grateful, he bowed to show he was appreciative of the necklace. He then glanced over at me while his smile faded a bit.

I walked over next to him and grabbed his hand. “Do you have to go back now?” I asked him, a bit of a pain in my voice. Most of the guys who offered their hearts to me always tried to take advantage of my family’s reputation. Karl just felt different, his tenderness, his goofy smile, and kindness made him so attractive.

He looked over with the same sad look in his eyes, “I do. I have to get back to my home.” He told me. He then thought of an idea. “I’ll walk down there with you!” I don’t know why I didn’t share this idea with him first but it was the perfect to take a little walk before I had to say good bye. I nodded my head as he dragged me outside, I almost tripped over the skirt part of my dress. He lead me down this mysterious path I’ve never been down but presumably where he came from. We were getting farther away from the castle. We came across this little creek with a first and a cave in the distance.

I could see little blue and purple particles floating in the air coming from inside the cave. He slowly let go of my hand, but I grasped on harder. “Karl! You can’t just go!” I cried out, “I haven’t been able to thank you for the help you gave my family and I.” He looked back at me with a little glimmer in his eyes.

“What kind of thanking would you be doing?” He asked, I could think of a few myself. I put my loose hand on his cheek and caressed it. I looked into his eyes, my eyes slightly stinging. He looked down at my lips and then back in my eyes, his cheeks turning a soft shade of red. I leaned into a passionate kiss, Karl and I’s lips meshing together. He put his hands on my waist, pulling me deeper into the kiss. My eyes remained closed as he did so. The kiss started off gentle and long but soon turned wet and hot.

I quickly moved my hands down to his chest where I put them on his pecks which were covered by clothing. His hands grasped my waist more, grinding my hips against his groin area. “Keep this so you will remember me.” He smiled softly. I clutched them in my hand, tears rolling down my cheek. “Good bye, Y/N.” He walked away.

“Good bye, Karl.” I said before he entered the cave and vanished. I waited a bit before running over, seeing the final particles float through the air. He completely disappeared into thin air. I looked down at my hands and saw the goggles still there. I clutched onto them tightly before turning around, slightly sniffling.
