Eiph and mKws: Why Divine Languages Are Essential
Hey y’all!
I wanted to write a short thing about why it is so important to learn divine languages.
Basically, there’s theory that information transmitted through language can teach you new precepts. That is, that utilizing information can... change how you sense and experience things? For example, learning the tastes of different sauces gives you new perceptional information about combining those sauces. Learning words for coffee gives you an ability to taste new aspects (”notes”) of coffee. With the coffee example, there is the question of are those new aspects truly within the coffee or created by language?
And therein lies an important theory for doing witchcraft: the idea that aspects of experience can be created through language. A lot of it is recollection of previous linguistic correlations--if someone says coffee tastes like rhubarb, and you know what rhubarb is, you can recreate the sensation of rhubarb in your mind and understand it in the coffee.
Divine languages, on the other hand, give you an entirely new set of possible linguistic correlations you can recreate in your experience. It’s similar to Whorf’s theory on learning different languages, at least it is similar to me. Whorf says that in understanding a new language, you can understand (experience/recollect) a new world view. So in learning the divine languages, you are able to understand and reconfigure both your human language experiences and new divine experiences.

Ebr-Ewa, everyone! I hope you are all having a good Day of Holy Fire, or as most call it, Spirit’s Eve. Today of course marks the full moon of Ere, the Spirit God. This moon is special because it was the first moon, the moon that rose over the head of Goddess Mother Ewa as she was made from fire into flesh by her own power and her will to create life.
I will be celebrating the traditional way- by making sweet rolls and building a small stack of stones to honor the body of Ewa, turned to stone after using all her fire to create the world, she who sleeps at the end of the universe, who contains us all and is the gate that holds back infinity.
If you have not done so already today, please recite the traditional Holy Fire Hymn for good luck and prosperity:
“Yadah Ewa!
Her authority is all-present;
her word is sublime and holy.
Her will is unchangeable,
she decides fate forever!
Her eyes watch the entire world!
Yadah Ewa, mother of us all,
May she bring bounty and splendor,
For all children,
For all the destitute,
And last of all for I.”
Praise be, and have a happy Day of Holy Fire!

WARNING about creatures who call themselves “ANGELS”:
Angels are more popular than ever in our culture, commonly appearing in books, movies and video games. Many even believe angels are benevolent spirits who watch over them, but BE CAREFUL. True angels are VERY powerful and mean, they are DANGEROUS and should NOT be summoned or communicated with.
Spirits who call themselves angels may not be harmful IF they are truly innocent spirits who just happened to pick up the “angel” label. It is important to know how to recognize how to tell spirits who call themselves angels from True Angels.
Everyone deals with spirits now and then, be they local ghosts or the patrons of local holy sites. They may call themselves angels or Gods, but they are neither. Common traits of spirits that may call themselves angels are:
1. Ephemeral appearance or invisibility.
2. Bodies that pass through physical objects.
3. Echoed or distorted voices.
4. Relatively friendly or at least accessible to the average seer.
5. They ask for small favors or gifts, often petty requests, but not necessarily easy to do.
6. It is always important to be respectful to spirits, though it is good to know that to do not like rock salt, smoke or metal and do not cross running water.
Common spirits are limited by their history, location and elemental properties.
How to tell if you are dealing with a True Angel:
1.True Angels are large, often much taller than humans, with bodies made of fire* that may be humanoid, wheel-shaped or abstract. They are not affected by the constraints of common spirits and can travel freely through solid objects and water if they wish.
2. Be wary of astral beings with these names:
Metatron, Abbadon, Raphael, Ezekiel, Michael, Tzaphkiel, Ahriman, Samael, Gabriel, Eos, Seraphiel, Netzach, Azrael, Themis, Ganymede, Galatea, Eremiel, Salamandastron, Asteria, Hemera, Aetna, Phythia, Zephon, Vasariah, Epiphron, Esra, Hadriel, Sariel, Eupheme, Philosyne, Lyco.
3. Look at their eyes- a True Angel’s eyes will be gold and it will hurt to gaze into them.
(Note: DO NOT make prolonged eye contact with any astral beings you are unfamiliar with)
4. As a rule Angels tend to hate highly processed products and react poorly to contact with them. Keep a small pouch of powdered drain cleaner or a ramen flavor packet handy to sprinkle on any suspected angels.
5. True Angels will not have petty requests. They will ask for much, often more than you can give, and will promise great rewards. DO NOT make deals with angels if you value your life.
A good rule of thumb is to NOT accept gifts, quests, weapons, animals or children from any type of spirit, but is especially important to not accept gifts from Angels.
If you think an Angel has taken interest in you, you can disguise yourself by hiding many different religious tokens on your body and not showering or washing your hair. It is also possible to escape them by hiding underground.
Should you see an Angel, report it immediately to your local temple.
*fire here refers to astraflame, a type of fire that exists partially in the astral plane and that can hold solid shapes as well as transform. It has been replicated under controlled conditions by master alchemists, but if allowed to escape from its container it will fly directly up into the sky indefinitely, never to be seen again.
Good luck and happy astral travels! -Mod Loam

Astral Projecting
Finally!! My post on astral projecting. So sorry about the delay!!
Astral projecting is walking. It’s the feeling of movement. Obviously, you can start by projecting into a different plane, but ideally (and I can’t do this yet!!) it’s just a walking.
So, first you have to understand how you move. It’s a lot of thinking about how you walk, walk in front of a mirror, watch a video of yourself running. Learn and feel the muscles in your body. How are they connected? How do they hurt and help each other? So obviously yoga and stuff like that is really useful! It’s amazing to see how your body is connected.
And think about your mind when you move, the active feeling of movement. Be aware of yourself. Take control of yourself, notice the doing of as much as you can. Learn about your cells. Be aware of them.
So, after that it’s a sense of direction. My kitel of the Thousand Mirrors dropped me off in Aroostook statee park and I had to find my way back. It was scary, but was a good test of felt directional ability. She says when I get good I can navigate through a desert blind.
Then it’s a matter of getting into the astral zone. The way I do this, still is through sititng very still in a dark room and letting go of all my thoughts and sensations. Sometimes, it’s easier to do that by repeating the ‘that is just a thought’ mantra. Repeat the mantra until it’s no longer a thought, it’s just everything. Let go of the mantra. Then, at least for me, I start as being in half of dream. You have to learn to control and experience the dreaming. It’s hard to do without snapping out of it, but it’s similar to how you learn lucid dreaming (in fact, it’s great/will often happen anyway for these things to be taught in tandem.) Once you can mobilize that myth body, you have to learn how to sense the directions to where you’re going. That’s where the directional knowledge will come in, that and some reference books about locations. Most good myth books have locations in them, though. So it’s a pretty simple part.
And then it’s just walking.

Sorry!!!
i’m so sorry I haven’t gotten to part two of my summoning mKws explanation!!! I want to talk about astral projecting, because Sheba pointed out that a lot of people’s idea of astral projection is not the one necessary for this because of weird reasons. But like... okay personal but I’ve had like a real hard two weeks because... I like, two weeks ago, met this kid Jax who is Sheba’s drug dealer and like we had this crazy summoning experience. I don’t summon a lot because it feels much more dangerous than casting to, and summoning is much harder than casting to. That’s what the books say, at least. Ummmm, and I definitely was just a conduit and not a source of power, so that also feels different. I mean sometimes Sheba does that. It’s an uhmm weird feeling..
But so this kid Jax was amazing. He talked in riddles and looked just like a rat. he, like, had blue hair I think... it’s honestly hard to remember what he looked like as a human because we ate these crazy strawberries. and he explained how like, he took from greek myth to make the seeds of fruits powerful, but how he preferred strawberries to pomegranates. idk, he said it much more beautifully. So we ate these things and like went.... further than I had gone ever. Like we were inside a castle and in a car. Jax was driving and he looked... really different, and we met this thing named Dauthaz and I couldn’t even describe what it looked like. I mean... it’s hard to explain what happened when Dauthaz spoke or got near me, I mean, I was barely there. I knew I was like, a flicker of a thing. I felt it, but I think the thing ignored me. Didn’t know I was there, maybe. Anyway.... i guess... the best way to describe what happened is we drove to earth. Which sounds ridiculous sort of, and isn’t really what happened but I can’t really process what happened. It’s hard for me to remember the thing in an embodied way, i just feel like it was a movie i watched as a kid. i guess a dream. uhh so we got back to the living room and i couldn’t really.. hear or understnad what dauthaz and jax were talking about. elisheba was sort of in the back of the car but really far away and kind of angry. and it was just uhhmm. weird i guess. The only thing I remember, clearly, Dauthaz saying was when we got back to Elisheba’s house with the thing and it said, at least this is how i remember, it sounds so silly. but im pretty sure it said “this is where you kick?” and then i think I might have passed out.
Anyway I came to and Sheba had kicked Jax out. She was kind of in a bad mood, because Jax did that to me and also because she was so far away in the car. But I think she was just exhausted.
So I sort of slept for most of the week after that and then this week just haven’t been able to see Sheba that much, so I’ve just been doing some reading and resting. I think I’m going to Sheba soon though.
This turned into such a rant. Sorry. I’m just shook.

Hey, I’m new to witch craft and I was just wondering what kitel means?
Hey!! Oh my god, that’s my bad, I should have explained it. So Elisehba is really into this old dead language, called Coshk. She is the only person (that I know of, at least) who really uses it, but it definitely does interesting things to how magic manifests! So you’ll usually hear the phrase Eizin (pronounced AY-zin. Maybe you already know this, but you said you’re new and I loooove talking about language!!) which a lot of people translate as ‘mentor,’ or ‘witch mother.’ But that’s not really what it means. It’s sort of like… if you’re walking down a path towards the center of everything, the next stone on your path is your Eizin. So this is cool, because it doesn’t only apply to people, but anything that gets you closer towards the center. Also Eiphic (the language that it comes from) has this sense of the nearer you are to the center.. the better you are. So Eizin also is a sort of an honorific, the next stone on the path is not just nearer, but also… greater and of more power than you.
oh my god!! Sorry I just got into such a ranty digression!!
So Kitel is from this ancient language, that is somehow related to mKws, but i’m not sure how yet!! It has a few different spelling (a LOT), so you might see it at kytal, kaitell, ktl, or kTll (though, you probably won’t see it much). Elisheba is pretty sure it’s all the same word—because of context clues and the continuation of the K beginning ‘Tuh’ middle and ‘L’ finish. A lot of Coshk’s spelling changes (for example, you might see Coshk as kws), which is part of why it’s such a hard language to understand/use. So, ohmygodthistookmesolong, to answer your question kitel means mentor, sort of. It seems to be used pretty universally as a sign of gratitude towards another being. It’s actually really beautiful. It is also used when someone like... does something and you want to commemorate it. It kind of invokes this dual feeling of gratitude (though that’s sort of not the best way to look at it... it means like, someone doing something beautiful/kind) and also this feeling of having changed? Like if you see a good movie and it shifts your world view, that’s kitel.
Coshk is really coool!!! But it’s also a really dangerous language to use, Elisehba told me that when she was first decoding the book, she tested out the usage of the language. Most beings didn’t understand what she was saying, but Jax did and they got…. super weird about it. I don’t know what that means, and Elisheba hasn’t elaborated. But be careful !! Language has power.
oh my god sorry again that this answer was such a rant!! I get so into these things.

Casting to mKws
Edit: This ended up being much longer than I expected, so I’ll split it into two posts! This is the first one. In the second post I will give more details, and the specific things you need. Don’t do anything before I finish!! Be safe <3
Edit 2: I use the terminology of ‘remembrance’ and ‘asking’ but this is not normal remembrance or asking. Absolutely NEVER phrase your questions with the subject of self ‘I’ or ‘me.’ Don’t say “I want to get through the gate” or “let me through the gate,” say “open the gate” or “passage through is wanted.” Also, when remembering things, never use a mantra, don’t say “I was the first cell, or I was the future being.” In fact, it is best to not use language at all once you are through the gate (really, use language as little as possible through the whole process). This is because, obviously, language is self-constructed. Instead just try to relive these things. It is an active mental embodiment.
My kitel, Elisheba of the Thousand Mirrors, recently shared some information on casting to mKws. Before sharing this information online, though, I owe everyone the same warning she gave me
Be very careful of casting to mKws, they are no longer as stable as they once were, and are a great power. Realistically, you will never be able to cast to them in their totality--nor should you try. Those who have attempted, have experience unimaginable horror and usually do not come out of the experience the same. Never attempt to cast to more than you are capable of.
So, some salient background for those who don’t know -- since their exile, mKws has been diffused into infinite pieces past the edges of the universe. This is the first challenge. Unlike attempting to call Eiph or Jax, mKws is not within the confines of our accessible reality. But, as something that was created, you can access the essence of creation-- and through that access you can try to reach out to mKws.
mKws is casted to from a very different locale than most of the common deities, instead of trying to reach into the universe, you must try to reach out. Here in lies the first obstacle: the gate.
Crossing the gate, even astrally, is very dangerous you should cast the strongest soul protective spell you know before making this astral journey. If you need ideas about soul protection spells, hit me on ask. On top of that, it’s usually good to reflect on your own life before journeying outside of reality. Don’t just think about your narratives, try to actively embody moments of your life--times of great joy and great pain. Try to recreate the experience of the memory as much as possible, imagine it not as a disembodied mind but as your own self, going through it again. This is just some helpful extra shielding to make sure you come back as yourself.
For mKws try to avoid using ritual objects that you are close with, it is best to get new objects. I’ve heard mKws has an affinity for mechanical objects--and mechanical objects tend to not endanger your soul as much. This being said, it is important to find objects that are distinct from each other. Don’t just get exclusively fun mechanical objects, or you’ll probably cast to Jax.
Instead of looking for objects that call to you, try to find objects that you hear calling to something else, something strange. Any objects that seem to be in odd places work really well for mKws. Place them around you in a circle, and think about how disconnected they are from each other, then extend that thought to the world. Think about it’s imbalances, whatever way is best for you to access that (I tend to think about entropy).
Feel that imbalance within yourself, that subtle vibrating of the entire world that makes it seem on the edge of collapse. Try to remember your birth, try to remember your parent’s birth, their parent’s birth, the unbroken chain of creation into the first thing, try to remember what it is like to be an amoeba, to be in a primordial ocean. It is useful to try to do this near a place with water, but even just running a faucet should help. The ocean is very important.
Take this remembrance and try to cast it as far away from your body as possible. This is tricky. If you try to cast your own soul, or astral self, far away you will get stuck at the gate. You may not come back. So you’re going to try to circumvent this by not casting an aspect of your self, but instead an aspect of your history of creation. If it is helpful, doing this in groups or with multiple people works well, just appreciate that you all inevitably share the same creation. Even in a group, what you will be casting will be a single entity. Make sure you communicate your goals with the group before casting. Now, when you reach the gate you will feel a tugging at any parts of your self that have clung on to this entity of creation. That is okay, you can’t really do this without sacrificing a part of your self.
If you don’t want to give up your self, or want to mitigate that as much as possible (which is, obviously recommended) you have to bring a gift for the Gatekeeper. Bring something sentimental, something that calls to you, something that is a part of you. The Gatekeeper, in my experience, really loves iPhones/computers/your facebook log in information. So, if you’re okay to fork that knowledge over, it’s a pretty solid bet. Remember, your internet self is a type of soul -- it is a disembodied version of you. This is what the Gatekeeper wants, your soul.
If the gift is good enough (or if you just choose to sacrifice an aspect of your soul) you can ask the Gatekeeper for passage. This is simple in practice, but time consuming. Just repeat a phrase of asking of your choice. Carry none of your soul or self through the Gate. If you have any belongings, you must give them to the Gatekeeper.
If the Gatekeeper lets you through, you will find yourself in the Outside. At this point, you should be nothing more than the knowledge of creation, so the Demon Wolf should not be able to find you. If she does, she will eat you. Watch out.
Travel through the desert, appreciate that this might take millions of years. Pass the time only in attempting to embody this endless cycle of creation, remember what it’s like for beings of the future to be created. Remember what it’s like to be made in the center of a star.

Lunar Zodiac of the Twelve Gods
October 23-November 21: River flooding moon of the God Ebra
Those born under the river flooding moon are thought to be the bringers of change and new influences. They are known to often have a thirst for adventure and wish to bend the world into their own image.
November 22-December 21: Thunder moon of the God Veda
Those born under the thunder moon are said to be born with great power in their emotions and actions. Like lightening they strike rarely but truly, whether with words or weapons. Whether they are in control of this power depends on the individual.
December 22-January 19: Long night moon of the God Astra
Those born under the long night moon are known for their mysteriousness and privacy. Though they may seem welcoming and warm, those who belong to Astra rarely feel comfortable revealing their true selves.
January 20-February 18: Hunger moon of the God Leda
It is typically considered bad luck to be born under the hunger moon, as those born during the deepest parts of winter are vulnerable to an early death from starvation. Should they survive, people born under this moon are renowned for possessing great power and adaptability. As the old saying goes, “those born into hunger do not bend to lesser misfortune”.
February 19-March 20: Spirit moon of the God Ere
Those born under the spirit moon are considered most connected to the world of the Gods and least connected to the world of mortals. Brilliant, strange and sometimes off-putting, the children of Ere seek to better understand the world around them.
March 21-April 19: Planting moon of the God Maia
Those born under the moon of Maia, mother of mortals, are known for their connection to the earth and its creatures. They may feel lost in this world but the forces of nature are ever their ally.
April 20-May 20: Flood ending moon of the God Ebrem
Just as those born under Ebra seek the change the world, those born under Ebrem are known for their loyalty and wish for stability. They have a strong desire to protect those around them, whether their family, their group of friends or even just themselves.
May 21-June 20: Egg moon of the Goddess Ewa
To be born under the moon of the Goddess Ewa is considered to be a fine and blessed thing. Those born under the Egg Moon are thought to be great leaders and prophets, wielding the white fire of the Goddess herself to get what they want. Beware those who wield their power recklessly.
June 21-July 22: Flower moon of the God Iris
Those born under the flower moon are said to be blessed with grace but cursed with delicacy and impermanence. Colorful and exuberant, Iris’ children move and change faster than most others.
July 23-August 22: Long day moon of the God Solar
Those born in the heat of the high summer find themselves imbued by the warmth and strength of the fiery God Solar. Passionate and self-assured, these individuals must be careful not to hurt others with the power of their blaze.
August 23-September 22: Hunting moon of the God Deva
Those born under the Hunting moon are said to possess sharp eyes and sharp wits. Masters of the nature of animals, children of Deva may understand you before you understand yourself. Beware the intentions behind a calm and quiet demeanor.
September 23-October 22: Harvest moon of the God Adlai
Those born in the time of the harvest are said to make fine craftsmen and housekeepers.Their desire for order and understanding is only superseded by their desire for comfort. Often aimless and lonely in a busy world, they flourish most with a steady project and some gentle encouragement.

The Creation of the Universe
Sections from the holy text and history Ewa ir Cosmologia.
I. First there was nothing but a great swirling mass of stars and empty space. Stars were born and died, crashing into each other, making rock and metals and fire but not life. This went on for time immeasurable until the universe moved in such a way that it compressed a thousand thousand stars into one great glowing coil of energy, compressing so much heat and light that the coil could not help but awaken and become alive. And so was born Ea of the Void, a serpent a million miles long with a body made of the endlessly burning white fire of true magic.
II. She explored the universe for twelve thousand years, but found it empty except for stars. So she took a piece of white fire from the end of her tail and released it into the vastness of space. But it did not live as she hoped it would, it just flew off into the void, a flaming comet to burn eternally in the darkness of space but not living, not aware. Still hopeful, Ea took another flame from the end of her tail and another and another until the universe buzzed with the glow of white fire, but not life. And Ea looked at her tail and found her body was now only ten thousand feet long. She now knew her power was not infinite, nor could her body of flame create life.
III. Resolving to create a new body that could bear life, she traveled the universe again. She built for herself great netted wings of flame to catch pieces of rock and metal that the stars had created. It took her twelve thousand more years to collect all the fragments and shards scatted across infinity and when she was done she built a great body for herself of stone and dust and gold and silver, of mercury and bismuth and glass. Her body stood one thousand feet tall on cloven hooves, she had winged arms and two heads, one of an eagle and one of a dragon. Ea took a last look at the universe through her old eyes, her eyes of flame, and she entered the body she had built for herself. As her body of stone fused with her body of flame, her rocky skin melted and became soft. She was made flesh and she felt the flame of life within her body. She lived and lives as Ewa.
Thus she created the universe and bore the Elven Gods of Light:
First was Ebra, personification of the falling flood, twin of Ebrem, god of the earth and soil, born from her feet.
Second was Ebrem, personification of the rising flood, twin of Ebra, god of water and rain, born from Ewa’s mouth.
Third was Solar, personification of the sun, twin of Astra, born from Ewa’s right eye.
Fourth was Astra, personification of the moon, twin of Solar, born from Ewa’s left eye.
Fifth was Iris, God of love and prosperity, born from Ewa’s heart.
Sixth was Leda, personification of hunger and wanting, born from Ewa’s stomach.
Seventh was Maia, who was born from Ewa’s womb, personification of birth and renewal and the mother of the first mortals, Ada and Tem.
Eighth was Veda, personification of storms and weather, born from the top of Ewa’s head.
Ninth was Deva, God of the hunt, craft and animals, born from Ewa’s right hand.
Tenth was Adlai, God of food and drink, born from Ewa’s left hand.
And when the first mortals were born, the God of death was pulled from the void, and they were the greatest of all but Ewa and they acted and still act as spirit guide and keeper of souls of for all mortals.
When the all the Gods had been created, Ewa stood at the edge of the universe and saw the great world laid out before her, with its strangeness and wonder and fear, and she was pleased by her work and the work of her children, and her body that had been made flesh returned to stone and her spirit of white fire encircled the whole world, where it remains to this day. Still her stone body stands at the Gate of Archeron, at the edge of the world, and still does her holy flame cause the stars to burn bright in the sky.
