Kazooie was about to make a snide remark towards the armored fellow, but she was unable to do so once Banjo stepped in to securely muzzle her beak with his hand.
It was one of those days where he wished for peace...
Just this once.
The bear proceeded to glance down at his attire for a moment and then fixed his gaze back on the stranger.
“My shorts? Is there something strange about them? I wear these all the time.”

“You’ll be looking for a while, my furry friend.” A talking bear? Not the strangest thing he had seen upon arriving in this realm. “Not a honeycomb in sight I am afraid.”
While the stranger gave Banjo a bit of a startle, Kazooie peeked her head out of the backpack with temptation to let out a snide remark. For the moment being, she kept her mouth shut and let Banjo control the conversation- for now.
A grumbling sigh escaped the bear before he crossed his arms in discontent, “Aww, really? I was just hunting down a pile of honeycombs two minutes ago and-”
Blue eyes widened after a pause ensued.
“Hold on! Where are we?”
