MEMORANDUM: THE LAST OF THE US

As the once mighty force that was the United States, subjects itself for the first time since the revolution, to a ground invasion by foreign forces and the most devastating bombings seen throughout history from New York to Los Angeles. It is clear that the shining beacon on the hill, that was America and its continued existence, shall not last. 

Facing desperation from not only troops, but high ranking officials within the government. The American machine finally seems to be on its last legs. In a last minute move, the American command and its generals, launched a desperate last minute coup in hopes of saving or most likely grabbing the last vestiges of American prestige and hegemony before it all crumbles down.

With all this, the American president Harry Truman, will be the first president and the last president to authorize the surrender of the United States of America. At the same time Russian bombers hail through the clouds of Washington DC, dropping the infamous Tsar Bomb destroying the entire Washington all the way to florida. The mushroom cloud could be seen all the way to Quebec, Canada. 

In the words of Truman himself, in his final address to the people “It is with a heavy heart that I, Harry. S Truman, announced the surrender and dissolution of the United States of America. We have fought the undying fight, but we have failed to win. The Union is no more.”

Update 27: US ELECTRICAL NO MORE!!

As the third World War commences, the deaths are not just of US citizens but that of the US electrical supply. Infiltrators and Soviet agents working within the US government, conducted mass raids and bombings on crucial US electrical supply lines, all supported by the KGB. With this, much of the US electrical supply, from San Diego to Boston are all shut off. With this, the entirety of the US is now without any lights, shutting off even all the way to Washington. Hindering their ability to power anything.

UPDATE 26: THE THIRD WORLD WAR

The US has failed in trying to reclaimed the Korean peninsula due to their old and rusting equipment, they were quickly destroyed by the combined DPRK, Soviet forces with almost 250,000 soldiers dead. At 5:30 AM Moscow sent their hardest decision, Khrushchev ordered the Red Army to march through Europe from West Berlin. Due to the lack of American presence and dominance in the global stage, the Soviet red army marches through Europe with ease. With little resistance the European forces are quick to kneel to the mighty Red Army. In the East the DPRK and CCCP have started their invasion of Japan, taking over Tokyo in only 3 days and threatening to invade US overseas territory as well. 

Due to this Truman has ordered the mobilization of the Armed Forces, but due to the incompetence of the cabinet and the Armed Forces they’re unable to mobilized quickly as some of the american troops is in low morale and ill equipped as the production of new technologies is slowed down due to the council focusing on Nuclear energy rather than the Military technologies.

Crisis Update 25: Left on read

The United Nations has rejected the U.S. ambassadors request to speak in the UN, due to their incompetence and past mistakes. Several other nations are also starting to not listen and ignore things being said by the U.S. resulting in them to be seen as an International joke. Followed by this both France and UK has left the OFN resulting them in having no members at all.

Crisis Update 24: A Leap In Technology

The success of KREP has finally led to the construction of US nuclear reactors being built in Washington, Tennessee, and South Carolina . This is a major stepping stone for the future of American technological advancement. Now the US are the leading experts for nuclear centric energy in the world just behind the Soviet Union. This marks a new race for the advancement of nuclear technologies within the civilian sector. Foreign allies are now slowly regaining their trust in the capabilities of the US. Will this finally help the US return to the world stage? We can only put our trust within the US cabinet.

UPDATE 23: UNIFIED KOREA A NEW DAWN UNDER KIM IL SUNG

Finally, the  Korean conflict has come to an end. After continued rapid advancement made by the mighty DPRK army and Kim Il Sung’s legions, enter into Busan, as the last vestiges of the Republican army flee to Jeju and the American naval reinforcements flee to Japan. As the New Supreme Leader, Kim has said “This has been an immense victory for the Korean people, the rebels have been routed, and true Korea has been restored.” Rhee himself, The leader of The once mighty republican Korean army has fled to Alaska. This has proven to be devastating for American forces and the state of the OFN. Much of the fighting from China, now Korea has fallen to communism.. And now the renewed American president and public has now seen the decline and face as the dominos keep falling. Who could be next?, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam?

The UK & France has left the OFN seeing the incompetence of the American Allies handling the Korean war and the OFN as a whole as the’re only 3 members in the OFN. The secretary of state is under fire by the public. “Why isn’t the Secretary of State advocating for more members of the OFN in the UN?” Says a British OFN representative as he leaves the OFN building.

Update 22: The Bridge in the West

America and Europe have finally touched down on making trade routes and interactions, with this Europe and America can conduct trades more easily, resulting in America’s economy slowly crawling back up to its former glory. Besides Europe accepting trade routes from America they have also accepted to give America a low interest 2 Billion Dollar loan towards supporting American toy manufacturing industries.

The succesfull recruitment of top keynesian economists as advisors to the U.S. cabinet has enacted the QE (Quantitative Easing) and better fiscal policies that has helped the United States stabilize its economy which is leading to a slow and steady economic growth.

PRESS RELEASE #7

In this current moment that the United States of America are lacking in military technology to deter soviet aggression and communist influence within the nation and around the world, America promises to develop and manufacture large amounts of nuclear warheads to tip the balance against the USSR and end the war in Korea, as well as future conflicts with the improvement of aviation, marine and ground technology. In reponse to the 50% tax increase, the director of the Armed Forces Special Weapons Project (AFSWP) gave a statement to the recent controversy: "People of America, I hear your concerns but this new tax raise is for the goal of our newest project the H-bomb. We are currently in a war and we need a strong weapon to ensure our safety against our adeversaries. The Soviets has created a powerful hydrogen called the "Tsar Bomba" but fear not for I and scientists such as Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer and Professor Albert Einstein will create a more powerful weapon so that all of us still wake up tomorrow to a free United States. Update 21: Einsteins back !!! Oppies back !!!

Realizing that the world is chaos without science and knowledge, the AFSWP has decided to invite both Dr J. Robert Oppenheimer and Professor Albert Einstein back to the project, seeing them both as critical players in the race for the advancements of nuclear technology. The Head of the project, General Leslie Groves has guaranteed both scientist that there they will be working freely in a safe and private space without any surveilence. With this General Leslie hopes the return on these 2 great scientist will persuade other scientist to also join on the project aswell.

UPDATE 21 : Taxes Galore!

USA - 1953

Citizens of the United States have been spotted in outrage over the immense federal tax rate to 50%. This change impacts all individuals and corporations subject to federal income tax within the United States. This tax increase applies nationwide, encompassing all 50 states and territories under U.S. jurisdiction. The governmental entity who raised these taxes is currently unknown, creating more outrage within the citizens 

“This increase is outrageous! Our taxes have been used on these AFSWP meetings and they’ve barely done anything significant! Now they’re raising our taxes again?! What could they possibly doing?!?!?”

On the bright side, the AFSWP and government have raised their equity significantly, sacrificing the morale and prosperity of the US citizen.

UPDATE 19: A long way from Seoul

The current South Korean Army (ROKA) have been pushed back to the Southern regions of the Korean Peninsula. The current bulk of the ROKA are currently besieged in Busan. The current supplies are diminishing at a rapid pace and they are under equipped to fight against the North Korean forces. The current UN troops, consisting of troops from the UK, France, and USA have been divided into small pockets of fighting and are currently facing the better equipped North Korean forces. From the intelligence gathered by Korean agents, a plan has been uncovered of a possible North Korean counterattack to push the UN and South Korean forces to the coastline. With the North Koreans currently having more technologically advanced weapons and strategies, it is not currently looking good for the US forces. Will the US be able to defend it’s allies and it’s national interests?

UPDATE 18: Tsar Bomba: The Latest Innovations from the Ivans

As the soviet continued their groundbreaking trail in the overall race for nuclear arms and its subsequent development in society. The Soviets have in their latest innovation in the state of the current arms race, has developed and rumored to have something to tip the balance within the current arms race. Rumors that Soviet scientists have created their own hydrogen bomb, has proven to be the culmination from the lagging trail that is American arms development.

Tsar Bomba, rumored to be the biggest nuclear weapon ever launched, on any soil. Even if this does not develop, it continues to be a devastating blow to American scientists and morale. In the words of one civilian “we have spent billions, and all our hard paying taxes, on their efforts, but what is the progress?”

Now it is up to the USA to respond to these technological advancements from the soviets. Will they prevail? Or will they succumb to the red flag that stands tall?
