explaining your relationship with jake would be difficult. you were both at a remote hospital, jake being one of the few patients and you being his docter. desperate for a job, you applied for the suspicious job but you were unaware of the emotional rollercoaster that awaited you. what began as a regular job shifted into a dirty secret, a secret that no one could ever know.

you tiptoed carefully to avoid any noise, scanning around to check that there weren't any other employees. you always took the night shift, earning admiration from everyone. yet, beneath your sweet face, you had an odd routine at night.

you felt a fleeting pang of guilt for doing something so wrong, yet the thrill captivated you. sneaking into jake’s room at night, the sweet, hungry kiss he’d reward you with after he had a sip from the blood pack, and most of all, the electric feeling of his hand on your shivering skin.

you arrived at jake's room, clutching the blood pack tightly and slowly opened the creaking door. the sight before you made your chest tighten at jake looking so pale, looking as if the life had drained from him due to the lack of blood.

you approached him, prompting him to sit up as you brought the blood to his lips. normally, he would eagerly drink it the moment it touched his lips, but today he remained still, refusing to take even a single sip — as if lost in thought.

“did i get the wrong type? i’ll head back,” you say, turning away from jake. as you walk off, a hand suddenly grasp’s your wrist, halting your steps and leaving you puzzled at jake’s random act.

jake gazes deep into your eyes, the room enveloping in silence. his lack of words only deepens your confusion, wondering what he wanted and what thoughts linger behind his gaze.

his pleading puppy eyes sparkled with desperation, making your knees tremble slightly. his sultry gaze then drifted down to your neck, and in that moment, everything clicked into place. the realization dawning that this was more than just a fleeting glance between you two.

your breath hitched as jake brought his large hand to your hair, delicately toying with the strands while his gaze remained fixed on your eyes, leaving your words stuck to your throat.

you brush your hair aside, revealing more of your bare neck. the moment your skin exposed, jake's thoughts spiral into chaos, overwhelmed by the intoxicating scent of your sweet blood.

an intense urge to pounce on you overwhelms him from the scent, a powerful desire swelling in his chest. he struggles to restrain himself, his hands clutching the bedsheets as he fights against his dangerous urge, taking a deep breath.

“doll, don’t do that, please..” he murmurs, his thoughts swirling into emptiness as he feels himself falling apart, each second pulling him further from self-control. “go, please go,” he manages to mutter, feeling his fangs elongate. he bites down on his bottom lip to restrain himself, blood trickling from his soft lips — his struggle intensifing as temptation rises.

“jake, look at me.” after a few seconds, he slowly opens his eyes and meets your gaze. you gently wipe the blood from his lips with your thumb, causing him to hiss in pain from the sting of your touch, but he maintains his focus on you.

“take a bite.” his eyes widen in disbelief, revealing his sharp fangs as he parts his lips. “doll, it’ll hurt, don’t say that,” he warns, struggling to suppress the overwhelming urge to sink his teeth into your bare neck, his body burning with restraint.

“i’ve decided, jake, please…” you murmured in his ear, your warm breath intensifying his desire. his lips quivered, repeating desperate pleas for permission, each word dripping with need. the tension between you grew, electric and undeniable, as he waited for your next move.

you pull jake closer, his fangs sharpening as he inhaled the intoxicating aroma of your blood, the warmth of your neck inviting him to indulge in his instincts, yet he still hesitated.

as your lips brushed against him, he finally processed your desire for him, your need for his touch. with tenderness, he lifted you, gently laying you down on the hospital bed, a silent promise echoing in the space between you both.

his hand reaches for your smaller one, holding it tightly as he delicately brushes your hair aside further. the sight of your bare neck sending a shiver down his spine, causing goosebumps to rise on his skin.

he admires you, patiently waiting like a desperate puppy eager to cherish the moment. his gaze is fixed on you, moving slowly from your eyes to your waist, filled with longing, as he savors every second spent in your presence — addicted to you like a drug. he treats you like a porcelain doll, making you drown in his dulcet touch.

he takes a deep breath as he immediately connects his fangs to your bare neck, his plump lips brushing against your hot skin.

he bites down, gripping your hand tightly, in empathy for your pain-filled whimper. he delicately strokes your hair, life surging back into his veins, his energy rising while your’s wanes. concern fills jake's gaze as he watches you intently, swallowing your sweet blood.

he lets go of your neck, quickly checking your condition, his soft gaze observing every detail of your face. cupping your cheeks, he plants a tender kiss on your forehead as you exhale weakly, exhausted as the feeling of the fatigue of your weakened body wash over you.

“you did so well for me, doll..." he gently guides your body to rest atop his, your face nestling against his collarbone, feeling his warmth envelop you like a warm blanket.

he gently pulls you in for a hungry kiss, wrapping his arms around your waist to support you as he seats you on his lap. he chuckles at your near stumble backward, assuring you with a warm smile, his fangs slightly stained with red. “relax for me, baby. i got you”
