Random TF 141 (and Nikolai) head cannons

One of Price's favorite songs to sing when on a drunk is "The Maid on the Shore" where as ghost would probably prefer "Barbie Girl".

Ghost secretly loves hello kitty and the color pink but the only person allowed to mention it is soap.

Soap secretly likes brave heart just because of the quote "Scotland Forever" (though he's never actually watched the movie).

Soap and Gaz are best friends and gossip about relationships, random theories lol they have about Ghost, etc.

Nikolai's real name is Voyla Nikonovich and that's where his code name came from. Not because he isn't creative or smart, but actually because of how smart he is. No one would think he'd use something similar to his name because let's face it he's a creative genius.

Nikolai's mum made him learn ballet as a child to build character and respect. He hated it at first but it eventually grew on him. (Gotta love a man in tights)

Captain Price is just a giant teady bear. And gives the best hugs (both platonically and romantically) you'll ever receive.

Soap is terrified of spiders. So much so he has to use the arachnophobia filter to play the "kill it with fire" game.

Ghost's love language is borderline verbal abuse/sarcasm. The meaner he is the more he cares. He'll call you an idiot and beautiful/handsome in the same breath. (Tbh my family does that too so I guess it makes sense)

Gaz is a huge anime and K-pop/K-pop fan. (But not wifu pillow level.)

Gaz, Nikolai and Ghost can cook insanely well. Gaz learned from his mom where as Ghost and Nikolai specialize in what I like to call trailer Park cuisine (aka throw random stuff together and it tastes fancy restaurant quality).

POV: during a mission Captain Price got shrunk down to the size of a toddler when he inhaled some experimental gas on accident. So now he can at max wear a 4 T in shirt and a 3 T in trousers and shorts. Otherwise he's the same but a little more cranky when he's hungry. And gets frustrated if he can't do things without help. He gets creative sometimes and uses random objects to reach or climb on things. If the person doesn't know he's a grown man, sees him smoking a cigar they always say "who gave a baby a cigar?"

One day years after after the death of Johnny "Soap" McTavish, TF141 are taking on a new recruit. Most of "Caspar"'s info was redacted when they were recruited by price, so even he has limited information. Today's the day that "Caspar" finally joins TF141, in which ghost was assigned as "Caspar" direct superior.

"Ugh... Come-on Old man, you know I hate training new recruits."

Ghost groans trying to get out of taking on a new recruit. Especially after what happened last time.

"Oh,... I think you'll like this one"

Price smirked tilting his head.

"that's what I'm afraid of."

"thank you captain."

I say to price who spoke in my defense.

"Nice to meet you LT"

I Turn to ghost and say

As I turn to him, Ghost raises an eyebrow and smirks slightly under his balaclava.

"Welcome aboard, rookie,"

he says coolly, looking at me over. There's something about this guy that intrigues me as well - maybe it's the way he carries himself or the fact that most of his file was redacted too. Whatever it is, this sort of shift in energy, Ghost decides to play along.... for now.

I follow him and Price outside to meet the others. Gaz was sitting in a chair leaned for reading but looked up and nodded courtly in acknowledgement.

Nikolai was working on a helicopter not far off getting a little irritated at this point. Slaughter to Prevail playing in the background as he works.

Due to the nature of our mission, Farah was here as well to assist in the upcoming mission.

"سعدت بلقائك أيها القائد كريم"

(It's nice to meet you, Commander Karim).

I say in Arabic. My pronunciation wasn't perfect, but it wasn't horrible either. Price peaks up from the paperwork he was reviewing.

"من الجميل أيضًا مقابلتك."

(It's also nice to meet you.)

Farah responded.

"هل تتحدث العربية يا فتى؟"

(you speak Arabic, kid?)

He asked

"very limited. I'm still learning"

I say and he nods impressed. Nikolai puts his work down a moment.

"What's your specialty?"

He asked

"Depends on what you need I suppose "

I joke and both he and Price laughed

"ah a kid after my own heart. Preferd weapon?"

He continued walking over to join the rest of us.

"depends on the job. As for sniper I prefer Remington 700 SPS adjustrd for CQB, however it's better suited for what I'm more used to."

I quickly responded

"and that is?"

Price asked raising an eyebrow

"cleaning up the messes of eejits who don't follow mission orders."

Ghost rolled his eyes at my answer, clearly not amused. However, Nikolai chuckled and slapped me on the back.

"Good one, kid,"

he said with a smirk knowing shit was about to get really grim really fast, hoping I can stick to my word.

"Well, welcome to the team,"

Price adds, clapping me on the shoulder.

"We've got quite a few missions lined up for us in the coming weeks, so buckle up and get ready for anything."
