Solomon wasn't able to cycle with us on day 2 because he came down with the sickness bug I had on day 1. However by day 3 he was fully recovered and cycling again. Our first hurdle is a 3.5 mile climb up approx 2000 ft.

The rain was just starting to gently fall as we arrived at the New Inn in Llangynog in Snowdonia. It would rain hard all night and still be gently raining in the morning. We hadn't cycled up much to get to LLangynog, but I could see we were in for a monster climb first thing in the morning.

At this point Andrew's skills as out navigator go slightly awry. We're about to go green-laning down a very overgrown cut-through. Didn't save us any time either but kept us of the main road for 3 miles and made us even later.
