Desired character: Missy Saxon Character’s birthday:November 23rd. Second teachable: due to budget cuts all hires are required to choose a second teachable subject (feel free to share your resoning/headcanons) Extracurriculars: Missy runs the chess club, mostly because she loves the idea of playing with pawns. Sexual and romantic orientation: Missy is pan, she doesn’t care about genders in general. Ships you’d pass: Twissy all the way. Ships you’d flunk: I’m open to anything within reason. Character bio/history: 

Missy Saxon isn’t completely sure where her moral compass lies and has no desire to discover it. Most of the time, she enjoys playing with people, not in a necessarily evil way, she just gets bored. That being said, she has her own form of empathy does care for people. Those she cares for she latches to and will mold herself to fit them when she wants.

Missy spent many of her younger years trying to find herself. She went to several therapists when she was a teen, her parents made her, only for them to tell her she had this mental illness or that mental illness. None of them felt true, just labels to explain her thought processes. She grew up and chose to be whoever the hell she wanted to be.

She can’t stand boredom. She will do anything to keep from being bored and has few boundaries when it comes to her own entertainment. It’s one of the many reasons she chose to take up a position at Coal Hill. So many people to play with, the likelihood of being bored there is highly unlikely.

The choice to be the school’s counselor was a combination of lack of options that seemed entertaining, her own past with therapy, and the amusement of being hired for a position she had no training with. She needed to find something that would put her in the same as her old friend and lover, but her particular position was chosen primarily for the humor. With her past with the Time Lords, lying on her application and forging some qualifications was beyond easy.

Missy’s father was a historian and while she found his profession incredibly dull, the clothing from the different eras he studied was intriguing. Over time she developed a collection of clothing from one of her favorite eras. She love Victorian style, it was so conservative, it amused her.

For a brief stint of time, Missy considered going into politics. She thought it would be fun to play with people on a much grander scale. Finding the Time Lords shook her from that notion and she hasn’t considered it since. For her, there was both too much effort and too many rules. Being with the radicals and dancing in their chaos was far more fun.

While Missy knows it’s going to take effort and careful planning to get the Doctor to trust her again, it’s very hard to break old habits and the moment she joined the school she began to plan. Who to avoid, who to use. She made a mental list of those easiest to manipulate and those necessary to manipulate. She almost sees it all as a game. Each piece she needs to move to get to her end goal.

When it comes to the Doctor, her feelings are messy and she’s not entirely sure how to handle them. All she knows is that she liked how she felt when they were together and working with the Time Lords. She wants that back. One could say it was obsession but she’d merely laugh in their face. Her feelings, what they had, it’s beyond that.

1) text: Pet Martha- Sorry to bother you dear, but one of your students is bothering me about how traumatized they were dissecting a frog in your class. They didn’t like that I had laughed. How do you recommend I don’t get yelled at by the headmistress? You always know the best thing to do.

text: Jacky boy- Do you have free time for drinks Friday night? I’m bored and feel like getting sloshed.

text: Puppy- Sorry I wasn’t in my office today, things to do. I saw your note and don’t worry. little miss Hannah was only crying a little after she left my office. She may say it was my fault but I think she might just be a chronic lair.

Some student mentioned something about emojis. I said gesundheit.

3) Missy first analyses her dreams, they always provide amusement. Then most days she’ll spend a solid hour deciding what she’ll wear. She’s not much of a breakfast person, but she needs her coffee in the morning the moment she’s done getting ready.

First day back from winter break, how exciting. Missy was starting to get comfortable in her new position. She was getting the hang of having her fun without getting in trouble, though she occasionally still found the headmistress storming into her office. That being said, the plans she had set into place were not going along as quickly as she would like. She had managed to get an ally with Martha Jones, though Ms. Jones was unaware of any manipulation. Jack had been more of a challenge and that frustrated her. He was a flirt, but seemed to take no serious notice of her. She knew if she was to get her old lover to give her any proper attention, she’d need Jack to speak highly of her.

Which brought her thoughts to the Doctor. Their history was so long and complicated, she still wasn’t entirely sure what she wanted from him. All she knew was this semester was her chance to rekindle…something. She had hopes, but she had long since stopped putting stock in hopes. She wanted something, she was going to have it. Or in this case, him. He either didn’t want to pay attention to her or hadn’t noticed her much these past few months and it was infuriating. Missy could handle many things, she did while being a member of the Time Lords, but being ignored drove her a bit bananas. She would find a way to make him see her, whatever it took.

Character bio/history: River was born as Melody but really? Melody Song? She changed it as soon as she could at the age of seventeen.

She knew her parents loved her however she hated the enclosed feelings of boarding school and holidays were barely better and so she found herself craving attention or affection from anyone. To begin with she did this by trying very hard at school getting straight As in every subject and joining in the school sports team and debating team etc. Despite this the praise she got from teachers were lacking and her parents barely noticed at all. 

Her good behaviour changed when she was fifteen and her Father (after many promises that this job was the last he’d take abroad) signed on to a marketing job in Germany. After this Melody -River to friends- saw that good behaviour got no rewards and so began acting out. It never affected her school work but in class she became a lot more boisterous and dropped out of her extra curricular groups. The only adult she’s behave for was her history teacher who managed to keep her on track enough to get into university. 

River loved the freedom that came with University, she loved the attractive people more, and got her PhD with ease. On her first expedition River met Anita and fell head over heels in love. They were together on and off since River was twenty-three getting a civil partnership when it became legal in 2005. 

They were happy, being part of the same team that travelled the world together. At times that work was slow River and Anita lived in London close by to their team and River attended colleges/universities.

However four years ago River and her group were at an expedition and it all went wrong. The man running it, Lux, lied about them he safety regulations and a wall collapsed. By the time the rescue team found them River was close to death and Anita and the rest of the team weren’t so lucky. 

River left archaeology due to this stating to anyone who asked that the reason was boredom. She hadn’t thought about teaching seriously until one of her lecturers when she was taking a class told her they thought she’d be very good at it.

The psychic traits come from her Mother who always use to say that she had it too. River didn’t believe her until she was twenty-six and had a, she hated to admit it, vision of her Father falling ill and got a call the next day to say he’d developed pneumonia and could she come right away. Most of the time they’re little things that don’t do anyone any harm. She’s still got her fingers crossed for getting the lottery numbers.

He loved it, for the most part. There’s a sense of community there that you don’t get quite as much in the city.   - When he was six, his parents split up, going through a rather nasty divorce. His mum left, leaving him to be raised by his dad alone. He loves his dad, and doesn’t know where he would be without him – but the two butt heads quite a lot. In personality, they were too much alike, both stubborn, and headstrong to a point, but in interests, they couldn’t have been more different.   -Rory’s only ten when he realizes he wants to get a career helping people. His first career goal was to be, oddly enough, a chiropractor so he could ‘stop people from hurting’. That later changed to becoming a medical doctor.  -Med school was a lot more than he or his dad could afford though, so for now he’s settled with becoming a nurse. It took a lot less schooling, and was a lot cheaper. He hasn’t let go of his dream to being a doctor, but he’s enjoying the opportunities he has as a nurse a lot more than he thought he would.  - It was Amy who got him the job at Coal Hill. He’s always had a soft spot for kids, and while it’s not the most ideal job, and most days he doesn’t think he’s doing much with his skills outside of sticking a band aide on a crying kid, he doesn’t necessarily hate the job.

What are the very first three things your character does when they get up in the morning?  Before he does anything, he’ll start the kettle for some tea. Then he’ll get dressed and get around, do his daily hygenic rituals. By the time he’s done with that, the tea is normally ready and he’ll grab a bite to eat as he sits and enjoys his tea before it’s time to go to work.

JAMES SMITH: Jack doesn’t fully know James. Not because he hasn’t tried (believe him, he has) but because James is a mystery all on his own. The science teacher is a bit… eccentric, but that’s what makes Jack like him so much. (Well, that and his good looks). There’s plenty of good-looking people in the school, but Jack definitely finds James to be among the best looking. 

THE DOCTOR: Jack finds the Doctor to be a little… strange. It’s not that he doesn’t like him, he does, but the old man seems to be keeping more secrets than he’s letting on. Plus, there’s something about him that reminds him of James and John… He’s not sure what it is exactly, but judging how the Caretaker of the school is well protected by nearly everyone, Jack’s decided to get in on the old man’s good side. 

CLARA OSWALD: Jack likes Clara a lot. He finds her brilliant and witty, as well as beautiful. She’s sharp as a tack and seems to be one of the Doctor’s many devotees. In fact, the Captain’s come to realise that Clara cares for the Doctor a whole lot, which at first seemed odd to him; but after seeing how the Doctor reacts and seems to be around her, he could see why. He’s resolved to get to know her better and hopes that one day she and he can become good friends.

Ships you’d pass: Chemistry Ships you’d flunk: No-Chemistry Character bio/history:  Captain Jack Harkness grew up in mid-west America when times were a lot nicer for folks who had that 'American dream’ fever. His parents, transplants from the U.K., moved there after having problems back home in Scotland - to which they never really talked about - raised Jack and his younger brother Gray to believe that the best and only life they could have would only be in their small town.

Well, once Jack was old enough, he said goodbye to his family and hit the road where he travelled all over the continental U.S. and Canada. (He even had a fun three month 'vacation’ in Mexico). It wasn’t until when he made it to the East Coast and New York City, that Jack decided to get serious about life and began an extensive education in the one subject he’s always loved; HISTORY. After spending quite a few years with his nose to the grind and working hard, Jack finally earned his Masters degree and decided to broaden his travelling.

After being tracked down by his mother, Jack told her he was fine and set off for the rest of the world. Spending the next five years of his life travelling the globe, Jack learned much more than he could have ever hoped and finally found himself a permanent spot in one of the least likely places he’d ever thought he’d find himself; LONDON, ENGLAND. It was fine though, he was almost immediately offered a teaching job at the primary school Coal Hill, and when he took the position of History teacher, Jack couldn’t have been more excited.

That was until his parents got wind of where he was and began to call him nearly all the time, send him letters (mostly from his mother), but most of all, when the flat he was going to rent was bought 'anonymously’ and gifted to him. …He suspected that was his father’s doing. He wanted to argue with them and tell them that he could make it on his own and to look and see how far along he’s gotten without them…

…Except, when he looked back at his life, he realised that they’ve probably influenced and guided him all along. So he gave in and let them help him, being grateful that they weren’t coming back to the U.K. and that they were staying on the other side of the Atlantic ocean.

- Jack has a unique fashion sense. He tends to go for a more dated, but well fit look that matches to that of the military style of the 1940s. His most prized posession is a Greatcoat from the era that he wears whenever he goes out. However, if he’s deciding to look more casual, his style never really drifts from the cool colours spectrum; mostly consisting of blues and greys.

- Jack is well-versed in American History and tends to primarily focus on that, but he also enjoys World history and will not hesitate to jump at the chance to teach it as well. He doesn’t like to step on the other teachers in the History department’s toes, so if someone else specialises in something, he wont teach it.

- Jack has always struggled with his over-bearing Mother and militaristic Father, despite emulating some of the latters behaviours. He loves them dearly, but he also wants them to respect his wishes to just let him live his own life.

- Jack is a collector of books and anytime he sees one he doesn’t have, he’ll find a way to acquire it so he can add it to his personal collection. One of the rooms in his flat is solely dedicated to this collection, and his favourite book is a leather-bound 'the picture of dorian gray’ by Oscar Wilde.

- Jack and his younger brother Gray don’t get along as much as he’d like, but he blames this on their upbringing. He wasn’t the kindest older brother and he’s pretty sure Gray blames him for the time he’d locked him into the freezer chest. But he blames Gray for getting him in trouble and consequently grounded by their father.

- Jack is a very neat and organised person and his office and flat reflects that. Students have noted him absently cleaning up piles of papers and folders. He’s also the Doctor’s simutaneously favourite and also most annoying teacher, because of this.

- Jack’s last name of 'Harkness’ was one he’d given himself after trying to disassociate with his parents. However, he kept the title of 'Captain’ as a nickname he’d earned from his father at a young age. As much as he and his fatehr bickered, he still admired the man… though he’d never admit it.

Character traits:  + natural born leader, charismatic, charming  - stubborn, emotionally repressed, quick to conclusions.

WELCOME TO COAL HILL

The most prestigious secondary school in East London.

THE BASICS

▷ Her mum passed away when she was just a baby -- leaving nothing but a few blurry pictures and some stories behind. But while she may not have ever known her mother properly, she still feels as though she does. She can hear her sometimes, in her head. Some people might call that voice their conscience, Bill knows better.  ▷ Bill knows she’s lucky to have the childhood she did. Her foster mum, Moira, was always good to her -- even if at times it seemed she was a bit more concerned about the monthly cheques than actual parenting -- treated her right, put clothes on her back and food in her stomach. And even though the two don’t always see eye to eye (especially when it comes to politics), they do really love each other. Which is probably why Bill hasn’t moved out of their shared flat -- London’s expensive, and anyway, someone’s got to keep Moira away from Neville. ▷ Always wanted to go to uni -- took her A-levels and everything. She’d always had the kind of inquisitive mind that thrived in higher learning. But unfortunately, it didn’t seem to be in the cards for her. Not yet, anyway. Schooling’s expensive, so until she’s saved up the money and is sure of what she wants to study, she’ll stick to working in a canteen. And hey, at least she’s surrounded by educators, yeah? Bound to be some learning to be had! ▷ Though she longs for some excitement and adventure in her life, she actually lives a rather routine life -- eat sleep work, Saturdays it's out to the clubs with her mates, and Sundays are spent hanging round her flat binge watching series on Netflix (-- Netflix and Chips). Most of the programmes she watches are a bit far-fetched, but if she can’t actually travel through space with a Wookie best mate, at least she can watch somebody else do it. ▷ Is a HUGE sci-fi nerd, and her outfits often reflect this -- she likes to think of it as 90′s geek chic. 

THE RELATIONSHIPS

◀ ROSE TYLER: If She wasn’t behind the counter serving chips along side Bill, Rose would definately be the girl she’d be sneaking extra chips to. Then again, knowing Rose’s apetite for chips she’d probably have fatted her by now. So... maybe it’s better they’re just work mates. And anyway, Bill’s pretty sure her work day wouldn’t be half as fun without Rose laughing by her side. ◀ THE DOCTOR: The Professor -- or as she likes to call him, Dr. What? He’s a bit of an odd ball, isn’t he? But like... in a good way. She thinks. And even though he’s just the caretaker, she’s come to realize he’s one of the most brilliant minds Coal Hill has to offer. He’s also one of the few people in her life that’s ever taken the time to tutor her in.... anything, reallly. Which is amazing all on it’s own. Even if he does sort of run like a penguin with its arse on fire. ◀ MARTHA JONES: If Martha didn’t harbour a very obvious unrequited feelings for someone else (and wasn’t probably straight), Bill would probably fancy her. Who is kidding? Bill already sort of does, but who can blame her? She’s brilliant, and kind, and laughs at all of her jokes -- and it helps they have a share opinion on the Hogwarts houses. Straight girl crushes very rarely go anywhere, but this one has earned her a pretty good friend so -- all in all, not bad. ◀ DONNA NOBLE: Donna’s addiction to gossip and Bill and Rose’s proximity to it has brought this trio together. What started as casual chatter in the queue has now turned into an event, and Donna can often be found in the kitchen with the two canteen workers – sampling lunch menues and discussing poor Adrian’s awful dye jobs. ◀ JOHN SMITH: The trouble maker. Always poking his chin in where it’s not welcome. Mainly her kitchen. If she’s not careful (read: if she leaves it empty for any length of time) Bill will find John hovering over a pot or pan of some kind making ‘improvements’. Though what kind of ‘improvement’ pairs fish with custard, she’s still not sure.

Desired character:  John Smith Character’s birthday: March 21 Second teachable: John’s willing to pick up any of the science or math classes. He’d love to get his hands on a Chemistry class, but that’s probably not in the school’s best interest.  Sexual and romantic orientation: BiRomantic/DemiSexual  Ships you’d pass: John/Chemistry  Ships you’d flunk: John/Family, John/No Chemistry  Character bio/history:  - John doesn’t remember his mum, or his sister. The car accident happened when he was very young. But he still feels a sense of longing when he thinks about them, and wishes there was a way for him to go back in time to properly meet them. (He’s made designs for a time machine, but the actual science of it is still way beyond him, not that he’ll ever admit to any science ever being beyond him.)

- John took an interest in all sorts of subjects while he traveled with his dad, and brother. Math and Sciences came easiest to him, but he was too restless to focus on one thing for too long. It was one of the reasons why he loved travelling so much. There was always somewhere new to see, and something new to learn.  

- Despite his love, and almost need, to keep moving, he’s a lot more reliant on his family and friends than he’d ever like to admit. That’s partly how he ended up at Coal Hill, dragging his brother James with him. Without his dad, his brother, or even Amy and Rory, he’s not really sure he’d like who he is. He’s incredibly protective of the people closest to him, sometimes even to a fault.  

    - John loves his job. He’s extremely passionate and is known by most of the students at Coal Hill for excitability and distaste for tests. He’d much rather spend the time they take on tests reaching them something knew or doing something a bit more hands on. He has unusual methods, sometimes methods that are frowned upon by Idris, but his students always end up leaving his class having learned something new (even if that something new isn’t technically in the subject he’s meant to be teaching). Sometimes he makes jokes about how he gets pulled into the headmasters room more than the students for things like shouting and jumping on desks or repainting the classroom again.

What are the very first three things your character does when they get up in the morning?  1. John doesn’t sleep well usually, so typically he’s an early riser. He doesn’t really have a normal routine. He’ll stick out what he wants to wear the night before, so after he showers, and does anything he needs to do for hygiene, he’ll have that ready for him.   2. After that, when he inevitably still has more time on his hands, and he’ll make breakfast for himself, sometimes making enough for a small army, and if he does, he’ll bring the leftovers with him to school to put in the teacher’s lounge.  3. Once he’s done eating, he’ll do any last minute marking, or work on his syllabus.  All of this varies from day to day, but that’s the closest to a daily routine that he has.

James and John Smith: The Doctor’s two sons. He loves them dearly, but is afraid that no matter where he’ll go that they will always follow him. Why can’t they just fly and be free? He’s surely forgotten them enough times to ensure that they would. Still, despite everything and deep within his little heart, he’s happy to have them still with him, and he’d do absolutely anything for them. Clara Oswald: She was one of the first at the school to give him favour. She didn’t treat him like an outcast and rather saw right through his grumpy exterior. The Doctor enjoys Clara’s company and is happy to have her around. Almost so much that he happily likes to stalk and harass her about her teaching. He says it’s out of love. Jack Harkness: The Captain, or as he so calls himself, annoys the Doctor to the point that he can’t help but like him. The man is charming and neat almost too neat and it drives him batty. Can’t Jack leave a few messes for him?? Why is Jack cleaning up? THAT’S HIS JOB, NOT JACK’S!

Ships you’d pass: no (but fine chemistry, i guess) Ships you’d flunk: no (same as above) Character bio/history:  The Doctor started his career in education; not as a caregiver, but as a Professor. He taught a field of many subjects, but among his favourites was poetry and english. He served at the University of Glasgow, where he became one of those professors who taught well, was engaging, but was forgettable in name and personality (not because he was forgettable, but because he chose to be.

He was fine with that, didn’t mind it at all. In fact, it helped with his introduction into the peace loving group the Time Lords. He joined them first, then brought his wife and his eldest child, his daughter, Susan along.

He soon rose through the ranks, still being sure to stay quiet and forgettable; until his two sons came along; James was first, then John. He loved his family, but when tragedy struck and he lost both his wife and his daughter in a car accident, the older man became reclusive and flighty. Taking up his two boys, the Doctor began to travel the world; never staying too long in one place.

This of course, led to James and John have informal education and being taught the way of the world, rather than the way of a teacher. The Doctor was harsher to James than he was to John. (Mostly because John reminded him of his late wife; whereas James reminded him of himself). He punished James more, and thus left him to his own devices more often than not.

After coming back to the U.K. (and possibly forgetting his sons in another country at some point or two) the Doctor reinitiated himself within the Time Lords where he met Missy. She was unique and firey and he was as intrigued with her as he was terrified. Still, despite the radical form that the Time Lords got, the Doctor stuck with them until…. he simply didn’t.

Leaving them behind, the Doctor moved to London where he started a new life more anonymously. He got a job at the school, Coal Hill, as the Caretaker and has been there ever since.

Howvever now, his sons have found him once more and have joined him as teachers at the school. He loves them, he really does, but he doesn’t want them to keep following him forever either. ▷ Has been a crotchety old man for as long as he can remember, in fact his mother would have said he came out of the womb scowling, though he prefers to chalk it up to his Glaswegian upbringing.

▷ The Doctor had a name once, and a wife – he even had a daughter, Susan – but good luck getting him to divulge any of that information. The Doctor treats his past, and present, like a steel trap door. Nothing gets in or out and he likes it that way. The only thing that he will admit to, is the fact that James and John are his sons…and even then, that’s debatable.

▷ Was a member of a radical group called The Timelords in his youth. Their peaceful ideologies, and promises of a stronger, unified Britain are what drew him in. Underneath his grumpy exterior, The Doctor has always been a humanitarian, and an optimist.

▷ Despite the fact that his intelligence far surpasses anyone at Coal Hill, The Doctor actually enjoys his job. It allows him the satisfaction of helping (even if his methods are often questionable) while still offering the solitude he craves.

▷ Is actually a bit of a foodie - though he’s much too gumpy and private to share the experience with anyone.

▷ The Doctor tends to enjoy feeding the squirrels that run around the school, and oftentimes if someone were to sneak up on him, they might catch him calling each squirrel by a name.

▷ Has a knack for crawling out the back window of his shed when he sees someone approaching that he doesn’t really care for. He also uses it to get to tasks quickly. Also, he generally never uses the door unless he knows someone is watching. He likes people to think he never leaves his shed and that the tasks around the school are ‘mysteriously’ completed.

▷ Sometimes, when he’s fond of a person, he’ll leave them sweets or something small that they like in their desks. Alternatively, he’ll leave rather safe, but nasty little surprises for those he deems rude or he had seen them do something that he deems morally wrong. Usually, it’s a stink bomb. Usually.

▷ Tends to confuse names and will possibly switch them up on people. I.e. He’ll call John Smith ‘James’ and James Smith ‘John’. He might even call Clara ‘Clare’. It depends on the day, really.

▷ The Doctor enjoys hanging outside of classrooms and listening in on lectures. Sometimes, he’ll even call out the answers and duck away before the teacher notices. He usually does this to Clara.

▷ Finds that the usual cleaning solutions used at the school smells weird and he uses his own homemade and 'completely safe’ (or so he claims) concoction. Which tends to have a faint smell of lemongrass and lime, and a mysterious smell that no one can quite figure out. Just to make everyone in the school guessing, and possibly maddening some. He claims that the recipe is a 'well guarded family secret’, though he’s sure no one really believes him.

▷ Donna finished her A levels and was adamant that she would never go to college. Find a bloke and get married was the game plan (and also something her mother nagged her about constantly), though in reality it translated more into hopping from one temp job to another, never really believing that there was anything more to life. When she met Lance and started dating, it felt like a natural thing to get engaged and proceed to tie the knot by her mid-twenties, aim for the two children and the house with the white picket fence by her thirties, and continue on the same mundane path as everyone else she knew.reality it translated more into hopping from one temp job to another, never really believing that there was anything more to life. ▷ This continued until Donna got lost on her way to her wedding and jumped in the Doctor’s car thinking it was her Uber. He agreed to drop her off since she was running late, and promptly got waylaid. Donna and the Doctor’s accounts differ at this point, but he maintains that he saved her from a giant alien spider and robot assassins, and she says that she ended up saving him from drowning in the Thames. What is clear is that she ended up missing her wedding, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. That fateful meeting made Donna realise that a life of adventure and travel wasn’t something limited to the rich and the posh, and more importantly, that it wasn’t something that was out of her reach. She also realised that there was really very little chemistry between her and Lance, /and/ he was also cheating on her (with the giant alien spider, the Doctor claims).

▷ That represented a turning point in Donna’s life. She started backpacking for a while, then returned to England to look for a regular job that would be able to help her attain her own dreams. She went to university and obtained a qualification in education because it was practical and effective, then went on to become a substitute teacher in hopes that it would let her travel about the country and meet new people.

▷ While Donna can’t claim that “she had a lifelong passion to teach and loves children and wants to build the future of the nation” (be honest now - 99% of teacher applicants are lying in interviews when they say that), her broad experience with working so many temp jobs have given her a solid handle on practical skills. She may not be able to change a plug, but those skinny geniuses in suits can’t fill up a requisitions form, let alone tell the front from the back of HR records, so nobody’s perfect!

▷ Donna met a man called Lee McAvoy at the London library one day, and they hit it off straight away, spending hours chatting. Unfortunately, there was a small fire and the library was evacuated, and she lost track of him during the ensuing rush. She’s been searching for him ever since.

▷ Donna’s a bit of a foodie and loves baking, but can’t cook to save her life. She wants to organise a potluck party at Coal Hill, but she’s heard horror stories about ‘fish fingers and custard’, and hasn’t quite gathered the courage to see the plan through. One day, though. If nothing else, Bill and Rose can drown them in chips. Or perhaps she’ll organise the Great Coal Hill Bake Off and challenge Clara Oswald one on one (lovely girl, but that ego needs taking down a few pegs, in Donna’s humble opinion).

◀ THE DOCTOR: Donna loves the Doctor, she really does, but she wishes that he would stop leaping in through the window to ‘correct’ her while she’s teaching or trying to tell someone about what really happened on her wedding day. Really, it’s like he’s stalking her. When he’s not stalking her, she’s bringing him freshly baked scones in his shed. He always complains about the raisins and the cranberries (even when there aren’t any), but she knows he eats them anyway.

Donna: I think we need a spa day. It’s been ages since we’ve just had some time to sit down, have tea, catch up, do our nails. Let’s get Rose – she could do with some time away from James. Really, life isn’t all about blokes, but I don’t need to tell you that [laughing emoji].

-clears throat- After a too long break (or unexpected disappearance -- Doctor we said no magic tricks, dressing like a magician doesn’t make you one!) and much discussion, I’ve decided to bring this game back from hiatus and re-open the doors of Coal Hill. This will be a reboot of sorts and will likely not pick up exactly where we left it, however, the overall theme/feel/essence of the group will remain intact. 

If you were part of the group before you are of course invited to return, simply message me on the main and we will sort it out. I’ll be around for the next few days updating things and adding/tweaking character bios. If I have not heard from you by Thursday I will assume you are not interested and your character will be re-opened. If you don’t see this message until after Thursday, don’t fret! We’ll still be happy to have you back. We’ll just ask that you fill out an application (provided your character is still available).

Are all the new character cards going to be posted in one location, IE: the Faculty Lounge? I was wondering where they could all be viewed?

All the new character cards have been posted as they’ve been finished, and can be seen (along with character bios) in the staff listings section, where the bios have always been. I’ve also made a point to make a new post with each character card as I’ve gone through them, so you can see them as well on the main. I currently have one last card I’m working on at the moment, but I’ve hit a snag trying to find an image of a quote that will fit better in the card formation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to message me off anon so we can discuss privately.
