Just discovered the appeal of synthesizers.

Here’s my plush partners! They’re both jellycat dragons ^^

First, the snow dragon, Saoirse, my long time buddy who recently became my partner!

And The rose dragon, Maple! she’s newer and we hit it off right away! She’s my girlfriend as well :3

I think I’m hesitant to call myself an official ‘objectum’ because I don’t have sexual relationships with objects, at least not anymore, but I do view them in somewhat of a romantic fashion? I don’t view them as on the same level of a human counterpart, but the romantic and emotional feelings are still there. They have sentience in a way, and I speak to them in my mind. I’ve taken to calling my dragon plush my girlfriend. She’s very sweet and kind.

I don’t think she or any of my other plushies/objects view relationships in the same way people do. My object… partners? Don’t get jealous or sad when I don’t pay enough attention. They don’t mind that I don’t take them around in public, even if it personally makes me feel guilty.. they’re all very forgiving and understanding. They love me, and I love them too, even if I’m not great at showing it all the time. No matter what, even if I’m not in a relationship with them, even if I don’t talk to them like I do others, even if I don’t cuddle them or show them attention, they love me. And I’m grateful for that.

Feeling feelings for my new dragon plush that came in today! She’s huge and so cuddly. I don’t know what her name is yet but we’ve already spent some time together!!! I’m excited!!! I’ll post a picture later if anyone’s interested^^

I’d like it more if people who were fictionkin/alterhuman could be more mainstream or accepted, I guess is what I was trying to say. It feels like maybe kinstagram is the closest I’ve personally gotten to that feeling of mainstream acceptance. Didn’t mean to say that people should water down alterhumans or use the communities terms in a way that isn’t true to their meaning!! Sorry if I explained it wrong!!!

It’s such a shame that ‘kinning’ characters isn’t really a thing that’s popular anymore. At least, not like it was in 2020-2021 I think. I am nostalgic about kinstagram today and I wish it would come back in like a less toxic and more positive way.

Trying to explain my identity to others is DAUNTING especially towards "normal" people because I am so peculiar and some things about me truly just don't make sense or can't be articulated. I use terms like therian, otherkin and genderfluid to get as close as possible and describe myself in an understandable way, but it's always more complicated than those simple terms...
