BLOG#4: THE BEGINNING OF AN END
Starting a business is not a linear process, there are many ups and downs, sideways, and branches. We also recognize that we have competitors, such as the Facebook page CMU confessions/updates, where people post their needs and products, but it is not organized and the page is not exclusively for it, whereas our app provides the customer with everything they need or want to see in a boarding house. As for the team, we had a lot of discussions about our product, and we also conducted our own further interviews with the target market and business owners.
In terms of pitching, we received another correction and suggestion from another panelist. This includes revising the advertising and website design. We need to start small, so our team decided to start with a website and use the profits to fund the app. Given the cost of our product, we validated its feasibility. We also presented our website design, the inclusions of the app or the website. All in all, we received a good feedback without much corrections.
As the semester comes to a close, having a subject: The Entrepreneurial Mind, has provided us with insight into how to start a business, particularly for me, who lacks the courage, skill, and knowledge to do so, as evidenced by the previous Berkeley Innovation Index results. With these new knowledge, I believe I have become an entreprenurse.

BLOG#3: LEARINGS FROM THE PROCESS
Introducing, Boarda-go, it is an app or website that helps you find a place to live. We decided to create a solution for Central Mindanao University students, faculty, and staff who live far away after gathering problems. During the business model canvass, we presented the board-go app, and some errors and questions were raised by the panels. They also provided criticism and suggestions for our company. It is not easy to start a business, first and foremost, you have to properly validate the target market, especially in our case that we need to have a consent from the University. We began by interviewing the target market and business owners and then began interacting with them to learn about their needs. After having the comments from the panelists, we have learnt how to create an effective business plan.
In order for us to have an effective business plan, we have to enter the market with a specific and not too costly budget. We also have to interview more clients for us to be able to collect the maximum quality feedback. We must also accept the possibility of failure, as it is an inevitable part of running a successful business. We must concentrate on the learnings we will gain from the process rather than merely the product, as we will learn from our mistakes and create a better plan as a result.
Success does not come overnight, starting a business is not a linear process. We must endure many trials before we can appreciate the taste of success.

Blog #2: Buhay Kolehiyo: Far from Home
As more knowledge we’ve gained from the lessons of the subject the Entrepreneurial mind. We have learn how to collect information and how to identify problems that we can make a solution of. According to the interviews or data that I have gathered, one problem is that the availability or distance of eateries. CMU Students and employees with demaniding schedules often resort to skipping meals. Transportation is also an issue at Central Mindanao University due to the large size of the campus, and relas having a specific route or way that sometimes they denote it before as “saan aabot ang 5 pesos mo?” since before the pandemic, the rela fair was just then 5 pesos. They say if you’re late just run, never ride on a rela, or else with your 5 pesos you get a tour around the campus. Relas or tricycles have a specific route or way that sometimes they denote it before as “saan aabot ang 5 pesos mo?” since before the pandemic, the rela fair was just then 5 pesos. They say if you’re late, just run; never ride on a rela, or else with your 5 pesos you get a tour around the campus.
However, when all factors are considered, such as competitors and the need for a solution, the most unique solution we can think of is the problem with finding a boarding house or dormitory. Many students are dissatisfied with their current rental homes due to the cost, quality, and distance. A student is usually settled in a boarding house before or at the start of the class, but nowadays, even in the middle of the semester, students are still looking for a place to stay. That is why we decided to create a platform to make it easier and more convenient for anyone looking for a place to stay at Central Mindanao University. I have also raised this idea to my landlady, and so far she was open to the idea and willing to use the app or website if it is soon becomes available.
As we plan and organize our business plan, we hope that this idea will be accepted and attract investors in the near future.

BLOG #1 - The aspiring EntrepreNURSE
As a nursing student, you must have the financial means to survive the financial demands of this course, and as an average person who just wants to achieve in becoming a nurse, I have always thought about doing some things to earn money to help provide for my school expenses, and one of the things I could think of is starting a business, however I don't really have the knowledge and skills to start one. As we've begun to tackle this GEE16: The Entrepreneurial mind subject, I'm starting to gain the confidence and knowledge required for us to have a successful entrepreneurship career.
Studying entrepreneurship enables us to become creative, critical thinker, a risk taker, and collaborative. As we start a business with new and unique ideas, we must be creative. As entrepreneurship is a complex and unpredictable journey, we must be critical thinkers so that we can make the best decisions for the business. It also allows us to think critically about how to reduce the risk of starting a business without being afraid to take the risk. A risk taker, never be afraid of failure because it can serve as a learning experience and a stepping stone in your development. Collaborative, as we need all the possible resources including the critics to create an excellent business plan.
As a student who began her college journey in the midst of the pandemic, my normal routine has changed. To prevent the spread of the COVID-19, everything went online, including classes, shopping, communication, and more. Harvard defines entrepreneurship as the process of seizing and pursuing an opportunity regardless of the resources being controlled. As we can see, the pandemic inspired many people to become entrepreneurs, taking big risks to meet the needs of everyday life as employment and work issues emerged. Online business platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, and even Facebook took advantage of the lack of physical contact to improve their strategies. This is what we refer to as technopreneurship, a type of entrepreneurship in the field of technology, and it disrupts the conventional method of purchasing products, now, without going to a physical store everything is delivered at your door with just a click. Therefore, the main goal of entrepreneurship is to establish a solution to a persistent issue that benefits the community while also generating revenue to increase profits.
