I did it. Gave in to the craze and started building a system. Maybe it can be a new home for some of the many displaced people during the war.

The system is called HIP 81022. It was discovered in 2005, in the early Second Dark Ages. I found out it is also known as HD 149143, as well as Rosalíadecastro, in honour of a poetess from 19th century Earth. I will certainly be trying to find and read some of her writings in between hauling trips. Currently building a little outpost (around the farthest planet, would you guess my luck). It will only have medium landing pads, so I’ll have to take the time to build a larger station somewhere. Maybe in the rings of one of the gas giants? We’ll see. It’s not going to be a large system, but I’ll work on making it a nice place to stop by.

I hope they’re planning solid insulation and anti-radiation panels for this station... The twin stars are only 6Ls from each other, and the colonisation ship is sitting just on the edge of the corona...

Was starting to fall asleep at the helm, but I just. had. to get those numbers round. No idea if the system architect will notice whenever they next log in, but I couldn’t get back to my sleeping quarters without reaching those nice round numbers.

My pleasure! Asteroid bases are awesome. Saw you'd been flying solo, and the task seems immense, so I decided I might as well put my new Type-8 to good use.

I haven't picked a system yet, but one day it would be nice to have my own little corner of the galaxy. (Maybe one day I'll be able to claim the first system I ever discovered, but it is located thousands and thousands of light-years away, so that day might not come until many more years.)

Been hauling some more materials for building those megaships. 14,672 tons so far. Market fluctuations make things... interesting. I wondered if pirates and ill-intentioned people might try to target a freighter ship like my Type-8, but space has been pretty quiet. Not complaining.

Should have double-checked that bill of lading before launching. I thought my cargo hold was full of power generators, but somehow it ended up being full of crop harvesters. Took a little detour to sell those to a station that actually wanted them. All good now. Back in Minerva.

Been doing more runs carrying commodities needed to build new Trailblazer megaships and it turns out... I’m a criminal.

In my defence. I got stuck because there were [NPC] ships also stuck in the airlock so I was trying to manoeuvre around them and got trapped in the process. The second one, the landing gear trick didn’t work, I only managed to get out of there by boosting into the station and praying that there wouldn’t be anyone in the way. Thank the stars for shields, because I still managed to hit the back of the station pretty hard. Oops.

Meet Bulnesia, my new Type-8 Transporter. Trading in a mining ship was not ideal. And I have to say, those SCO drives are actually quite fun. We’re running across systems to help bring materials for new Trailblazer megaships to be built!
