I can‘t stand the notion that women have to be “the bigger person” and be morally flawless everytime it comes to men/women discussions.

Women aren’t allowed to be angry and fight back without being labeled as the “worse” of the two and getting told that this “justifies” their oppression, but men are allowed to be utterly misogynistic and evil because “they‘ve also been groomed by the system, they‘re victims!!!”.

everyone is always acting like there is some crisis of human interaction with one another because everyone is overly sensitive to how strangers approach them and like. no actually its because nobody has any fucking manners. social etiquette has legitimately vanished. it makes interacting with strangers miserable because people don’t know how to fucking behave in public.

like it is rude to stare. it is rude to point. it is rude to have a loud phone conversation in a quiet place. it’s rude to listen to music or videos or whatever on your device with no headphones on a loud volume, or at any volume in an enclosed or quiet space. these are rude things to do. like i’m sorry while some etiquette is silly, an acceptable level of decorum is necessary to make existing in public bearable for everybody…….it is LITERALLY common courtesy

(Gonna preface this saying i don’t live in the US so I’m not very knowledgeable about much of slavery in the US. All of this is based off what I have read and heard from reading about it in school and my own research- So if anybody wants to add any talking points/correct me lmk!)

One thing that is insane to me really is the TRAs who are now comparing TIMs being banned from using the women’s bathrooms with Black women and segregation not being allowed to use bathrooms (allocated to) white women.~~~(and having to walk either across the country to get to one or not have a bathroom they can use point blank period).

Black women and white women are women! they are female! That’s an insane way to have to start a sentence but apparently the systemic violent racism towards Black women and girls is somehow comparable in TRAs eyes, to TIMs being banned from bathrooms. Abhorrent to compare that.

Because how the fuck are you saying that “not letting TIMs into female bathrooms is adjacent to racial segregation.” Literally what the fuck. Like I’m not shocked at TRAs being racist because they’re fucking racist. But the idea that they THOUGHT somehow it was a “checkmate” is actually insane. They are not nor will ever be subjected to the oppression and violence that Black women were faced with (and face to this day). And to try and ride that train is fucked up and straight up disrespectful and offensive.

People going to xiaohongshu/rednote and talking about how this is the "greatest cultural exchange in history" annoy me so fucking bad. Like I am not american and I learned their language to talk to them and they never even considered this was something they could do too. Even on this app there are language specific tags they could use if they were so interested in "learning about other cultures" like oh my god. They are so entitled I kinda hate it, they're only considering actually using a translator because it's a trend now.

Additionally they're treating Chinese people like adorable zoo animals who are barely human. Like its either infantilization or really racist jokes and it's very uncomfortable to watch.

But my biggest gripe with all this is how they are now very uncritically spouting ccp propaganda they heard on there. Like, no, you do not have it worse than the totalitarian dictatorship state of China please. Your american exceptionalism even if it's reversed is STILL bad. You are not the worst and saddest country in the world, you are seeing hyper curated content from a DICTATORSHIP. I have seen with my own eyes people say that Uyghurs are not being genocided and it was just american propaganda, and they're starting to deny the Tiananmen Square Massacre happened too and holy fuck pleaseeeee stop being so fucking stupid. Women in Syria Have Created a Feminist Commune Free of Patriarchy and Capitalism

With the aid of women’s rights groups and volunteers, a group of women in Syria have created a self-sustainable feminist commune outside of the structures of patriarchy and capitalism.

The village of Jinwar—a word that roughly translates to “woman’s space” or “women’s land” in Kurdish—is in the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria (also known as Rojava), which became a de facto autonomous region in 2012 amid the ongoing Syrian Civil War. According to Kurdish news outlet ANF News, the village is primarily for women whose families suffered violence by ISIS, which massacred Yazidi men and raped and tortured thousands of women. Widows and women without families can all apply to live there as well. Jinwar opened on International Day Against Violence Against Women, November 25, with 30 homes, a school, museum, and medical center.

and this is the crux of the problem with the sex positive movement and their attempts to defend the reputation of kink culture when abusers who use that language are exposed. any sex act, including those filed under bdsm, cannot ever be critiqued if consent is thought to be involved. their logic goes: you consented, you wanted it, so the objectively abusive or questionable sex act magically isn’t abusive nor questionable anymore, because you consented to your partner’s actions. the belief that consent precludes all sex acts from the potential of being objectively abusive is an expression of rape culture. framing sexual violence as an individual freedom of expression is how liberals and leftists have entrenched the acceptance of male supremacy, sexual abuse and rape culture among “progressive” communities.

it is why patriarchy and rape culture cannot be blamed squarely on conservatives. it is a mistake to think of patriarchy this way and i no longer do it—i no longer say people aren’t “real leftists” if they engage in male supremacy. everyone is conditioned to promote or accept male supremacy, and your so-called allies in the struggle against tyranny still want women to remain in chains in their version of a liberated utopia. liberals and leftists attempt to incorrectly cast the right wing as uniquely “anti-sex” to distance themselves from their own participation in culturally sanctioning sexual abuse. i’ve said it multiple times and i’ll keep saying it—they misuse the word “puritan” as a curse word despite the fact that the christian puritan movement was not anti-sex at all. it’s about dismissing any critique of sex as regressive, because people who are “pro-sex” are beyond reproach.

both fascists and leftists promote or excuse the sexual subordination of women and believe sexual violence is permissible in certain contexts. leftists have simply wrapped it up in a sympathetic language that may cause you to let your guard down. patriarchy is a form of privation that has existed for thousands of years—leftists are not above condoning it.
