Some snaps from a field trip with uni this year - unfortunately the thistle is an invasive weed, which is a shame because it's so pretty! Was pretty stoked to catch the sundew in flower.

G'day! Call me Eva or Em, I've made this blog to dump photos and ramble about ecology! I'm no professional photographer and am still learning so they won't be the crispiest photos you've seen, but I'm trying my best. :)
I'm a 3rd year ecology major from Australia and am currently the Honorary Editor for the Entomological Society of Victoria, as well as President of my university's Field Naturalists club. I'm a very busy bee...
I love and take interest in all invertebrates, my favourites being velvet worms, springtails, tardigrades, land planarians, and velvet mites. I'm a big ecology nut and there is no animal I don't take at least some interest in! I'm getting into birding and have a big love for freshwater fish - having been an aquarist for 10 years has given me a passion for freshwater aquatic ecology, and I would love to work in catchment management one day. My dream job would be a role as an aquatic microbial ecologist.
Additionally, I was a little geology nerd as a kid so you might see some photos of minerals from my collection here and there.
Anyway, thanks for visiting, enjoy the mediocre photos!
PHOTO USE
All photos on this blog unless specified have been taken by myself.
Personal Use & Referencing If you want to use any of my photos for art referencing or non-profit means such as in assessments/NGO websites/etc, please feel free! I don't require credit for personal use my photos, but if you would like to just pop my name (Em Crick) alongside it.
Commercial Please don't use any photos for profit without permission. This does NOT include using photos for referencing when making merchandise, that is generally ok, HOWEVER please just check in first if doing so as sometimes I use my own photos to make art merch so wouldn't want to double up. :)
