Talking to my mom last night about the wedding we’re all going to in 2 weeks and she says “I don’t think I’ve ever been to a non Catholic wedding!”
And I’m like “well Rachel and Becca’s wedding wasn’t a Catholic wedding”
And she says “I guess that didn’t really register as a wedding to me”
And I’m here, ready to have a real hard conversation with my mom about homophobia and Recognizing others and as I’m having this spiral this bitch goes “cause it was outside”
So good news, my mom doesn’t give two fucks if you’re gay, straight, bi, pan, etc but get yo ass married in A HOUSE with a ROOF or it will not register with her

Trump voters on tiktok are EXTREMELY mad about the following:
They just found out what tariffs are
They just found out what denaturalization is
They (particularly black and Hispanic trump voters) just found out that other trump voters are racist
Leftists and liberals don't want to be their friends (they are furious about this)
Leftists keep telling them they hope they get what they voted for (they are really mad about this too)

I've been on so many shitlists with so many subtypes of fascists over the years, and it turns out one of the biggest things they all have in common is that they cannot STAND being laughed at. argue with them all day and night, call them names, fight them in the street, whatever. they'll metabolise it into their self mythologies. but nothing makes them fill up red like a looney tune and blow steam out of their ears like being gently made fun of.

The onion buying Infowars is the best possible scenario. They actually understand how to report on alex, and they'll know what to do with his assets.

Displacement
Do not take this word lightly; it carries feelings of oppression, despair, and deep frustration. Behind it lies immense pain, a heavy burden of responsibility, and the agonizing choice between taking a step that could cost you and your family’s lives or staying where you are — a decision that might come at the same cost.
Leaving one’s home by force is a harrowing test of resilience. It’s difficult even for inanimate objects to be uprooted, let alone for people who have once tasted the comfort of stability.
And as for living in a tent? This is a bitter reality, one whose weight is only understood by those who have experienced its harsh details firsthand. In the tent, you lose the sense of safety, feeling as though life around you has come to a standstill, leaving you suspended in a place of fear and uncertainty.
The family of Asmaa Ayad is one of those who have endured the bitterness of displacement and the hardships of tent life. They desperately need your support and solidarity in this difficult time, as they face dangers from every side.
@asmaayyad2
With your compassion and support, we can alleviate their suffering and give them hope for a dignified and stable life. Be a helping hand for them on this difficult journey.
