Behind Tinker Knight, a small girl can be spotted dropping a surprisingly heavy sack of gold in a waiting minion’s hands before scooping up ten rats and walking out without another word.
Tinker Knight meanwhile just gives Plague Knight a silent dirty look.

“Plague Knight, you do realize what floodgates you just opened, right?”

“I found my Joustus deck while cleaning up my storage room. I supposed I kept it somehow despite what happened. I wonder if anyone else managed to keep their decks?

He quirked an eyebrow. "Why did you even go on that airship anyway? I mean, I went since I needed some place to hide out. But what was your purpose there because I don't think they needed a bomb expert."
He has seen Plague Knight briefly while on the Glidewing, though they didn't get officially introduced until the Order was formed. But he certainly had seen the nervousness he was referring to.
"Looking back, you were pretty nervous about Mona being there too from the little I saw." He crossed his arms."I know some was because of your feelings and all, but I don't think that was the only reason...if you don't mind me asking."
"...Around this time of the year, I remember my project of making living men out of metal."
Tinker Knight goes quiet, before shuddering. It's certainly not a pleasant memory.
"...We all had to camp out in the cold for about a month until we finished rebuilding enough of the Clockwork Tower. The colds we all got didn't help. Needless to say, I'm reluctant to do another project like that for the foreseeable future."

"From what I can tell. I'm not sure if I want to track TMK-500 down though. It might enjoy being free and might not appreciate being brought back against its will”
Ah, TMK-500. Short for Tinker Mecha Key Unit number 500. Dvalinn had complained about the lame name though and abbreviated it into the cooler sounding (in her mind) TMK-500. He had enjoyed TMK-500′s company back when the robot was with him before the chaos. It had only been capable of rather rudimentary speech and thought, but Tinker Knight had been hopeful that could change overtime. It showed potential for learning. He supposed the least he could do as its creator was if it was happier being free, then he would respect it.
He wondered what the robot had learned during its journey.
“It’d be another story if TMK-500 wanted to come back though. But unless I have a lead to where it went off to, it’ll be a challenge to find it at all.”

“I recall using…metal oxide and silicon for the components functioned as the ‘brains’. They took up most of the body of the robots aside from the parts that helped it move.”
He shook his head.
“Well, no. I don’t know where it went off to. I lost track of it in the chaos. I heard word of a robot that looked like it being spotted by more than one person, but I’m not sure where it is now.”
The word ‘blueprints’ makes Tinker Knight sigh.”As for the blueprints…I lost a good majority of them during that incident. Lots of them got trampled and ripped beyond salvaging. Including the blueprints of the robots, unfortunately.”
“Huh. So it’s on road trip, then?”
Mona listened to the fate of the blueprints, but despite the circumstances, she still grinned.
“Well! That’s a shame. But it sounds like your metal man is still out there. Could be fun to track down!”

Oh dear. Tinker Knight knew he was giving Mona some ideas, and he wasn’t sure if it was a good thing. But it didn’t seem right to stop talking about something that interested her either.
“Frankly, I’m still not sure why it happened. Might have been the components I used for its…brains, so to speak, or something that happened when I was mass producing them. Only my prototype ended up not going haywire. I could examine it to figure out what was different between it and the others. But…that’s not an option.”
“And those would be..?”
Mona pinched her chin thoughtfully.

“Huh. It got destroyed, I presume? Did you keep the blueprints?”

“He’s quite the bruiser, and can play a decent hand of Joustus, but his brain is as dry as himself” he cackled wickedly
“You and I will grow old like fine wine, sharp with wit, he will spoil like milk”
“Being a bit harsh there, are you?” Though Tinker Knight couldn’t help but chuckle at the words.
“But, aside from him, it was not fun reconstructing the Clockwork Tower because of all the damage. And then I get forcibly recruited into an order of knights with the purpose of domination not that long after getting some of the reconstruction done.”

Tinker Knight made an odd sound in between a groan and a sigh, shaking his head. “If that was the intention, then I could just make another robot. There wouldn’t be a point to making them sentient if they couldn’t think for themselves. Personally, I think I’m better off working with non-sentient things, as interesting as the idea of metal sentient life is.”

"No, I was alone. We all got separated in the chaos. I had my tank and Mobile Gear on hand though. Still, that pompous proclaimed king had some nasty shoulder bashes..."

"I don't know about that. I'm pretty sure my creations had good brains. How else would they have run us out of our own tower otherwise?"

"This was back before I knew you. In fact, it was sometime before Specter Knight broke in to recuirt me."
He sighs, absentmindly spinning a wretch in the air. "Not to mention I got beat up during that time too."
