Possiblyyyy. Next chapter is not far off. I'm pretty much up to where I'd finished now though so I'm working non-stop on finishing the rest of the story ATM to be honest. Like up till 2am last night kinda working. So I kind of want to focus on finishing the rest rather than polishing at the moment. Especially since I'm at the point where I need to be careful to not fuck it up and create plot holes or massive inconsistencies!

So if it takes me a little longer to post the next chapter it's for the greater good!

I am so excited for new chapter💓

Just to quickly say I've not gone anywhere. Unfortunately, I did smash my phone screen over Christmas and the one I got as a replacement is unfortunately trickier to write on. As I can't always get on my laptop, this is unfortunately slowing me down. I've also been annoyingly busy.

The next chapter is almost ready to go however and hopefully won't be too much longer!

Do you have some other story ideas and things you are working on? I assume AMLT is your main priority right now but do you have some other ideas? I'm not trying to say that you should I really like AMLT that's one of my favourite fics ever I'm just courious. So could you share ideas or things you are working on and will work on? If you want to share them ofc

No, at the moment I'm only working on AMLT, it's consuming all my spare time tbh.

The only thing turning round in my head is the "Cruel Summer" random hook ups idea but I've not actually written anything, just talked to a friend about some ideas.

I think the 2 things I'll focus on after this is either the final installment in the Midnight series or the "This is what you came for" story where half is written and the other half I'm stuck on. If I can find inspiration for finishing that, that would be nice as it's really annoying to have a half written fic just sitting there with no idea on how to finish it.

I think so but I want someone to read it through before I post it and my reader-through-ers are all busy with life shit.

Hopefully won't be too long! Sorry, I know this is a much bigger delay than planned. But the good news is I don't think the next chapter will be too long unless I add extra scenes.

Why did your friend stop writing ffs?😭 I really like everything she wrote, why did she stop?

She's not definitely stopped forever, she's just not feeling it right now, which I completely get. Partly Haylor being less inspirational these days and partly just wanting a break. It's easy for me cuz I just live in the past, whereas her fics are more present and Haylor aren't Hayloring enough these days.

I agree though she's an amazing writer. I'll pass your message on. ❤️

I'd like to think so but it's a bit more plot-heavy than the last few so I'm kinda waiting for some help on it because I'm not sure. So it's just one of those things. If not, I don't have much time today but I have more on Friday so I'll see if I can get there.

Not sure if I've mentioned this before (probably have) but I write fics that I'd want to read myself and I've got enough distance on some of them now that I can read them back as a reader rather than an author and it is FUN! 😂 Is It Over Now? = 🔥

Weirdly, I think my fave thing I've ever written was the break up/argument in Passports in Footwells though. Because that was HARD WORK to get right, I had to tear it apart so many times and when I finally finished it, it felt like a huge accomplishment. Have to give @emmainldn a lot of credit for that one too, I think she had to read like 35 different versions of the same scene 😂❤️
