Are Cheaper Sunglasses Better?

I came across a Youtube video that is comparing 2 sets of sunglasses to see which one is better at seeing fish in the water or has better clarity.  The guy is out fishing on his boat and he has a pair of Costa Jose Tortoise 580G sunglasses that cost $260 and a pair of Berkley's that only cost $5.  He got the $5 pair at a convenience store.

After fishing for a few hours switching back and forth between each pair he came to a conclusion that the cheaper pair are nearly equal to the more expensive pair.  They were comparable in performance to the Costa Jose glasses, maybe not as cool looking or stylish, but they performed the same.

The point is you don't want to view a product as better just because it costs many times more than a cheaper product.  If you can test both, test them to see if you're really getting an exclusive set of glasses based on performance or simply price. 

After watching the video take some time to browse through the comment section of the video and read what people are saying.  There will be many that will undoubtedly defend the more expenisve pair as being superior while others are more honest and say you're wasting your money, it's all marketing.
