Magu Mosque is the symbol of the center of Mala, Maldives, and is also the largest mosque in the country. The Friday Mosque, because of its ancient architecture, is not only one of the oldest mosques in the Maldives, but also listed as an important world heritage site for its unique architectural style and absolute historical and traditional influence. These mosques are built of coral stone. There are complex coral carvings on it, showing the rich imagination and excellent craftsmanship of the local people to build this artistic building. When you first enter the mosque, you will see the white minaret with complex Arabic patterns carved on it, which will make people awe-inspiring. Inside the temple, the ancient coral stone walls have gone through vicissitudes, and the columns and domes carefully built by coral stone show the superb technology of the ancient people, which is really amazing. I think this building is not only a religious activity center, it is more like a palace of art. The entire decorative style is elegant and solemn. Many elements come together to create this vivid Islamic art picture scroll. Especially those exquisite tiles hanging on the floor and walls, the patterns are rich and varied, and they also express meaning. On Friday prayer day, the temple will begin solemn recitation. The believers are dressed in clean white clothes, lined up neatly, immersed in the pious worship of Allah. Many tourists also come here to feel the solemn atmosphere, experience the local culture, and appreciate the beautiful architecture. As the most important historical and cultural surface in the Maldives, the Male Old Mosque not only carries the heavy accumulation of the country's Islamic culture, but also witnesses the cultural exchanges between the East and the West.

Symbol
The national emblem of Maldives is the symbol and emblem of the country, with rich connotations and symbolic meanings. The national emblem of Maldives consists of a crescent moon, a five-pointed star, two national flags, a coconut tree and a ribbon. The moon and the five-pointed star represent that Maldives is a country that believes in Islam. The national flag represents the symbol of the country's power and dignity. A coconut tree represents the livelihood of the people of the country. At the bottom, there is also the local traditional text "Maldives".
Tumblr media
The historical background of the Maldives is also reflected in the national emblem. The national emblem of the Maldives can be traced back to 1965, when the Maldives declared independence and became a free and independent country. In order to emphasize its independence, the country will design its own national emblem. The initial design of the national emblem was relatively simple, and as time went by, the current national emblem is more vivid and symbolic. The coconut tree is in the middle and top position in the national emblem, reflecting its importance. It is said that the coconut tree first fed the earliest group of people on this land, so the coconut tree symbolizes the livelihood of the people.
It is not a symbol copied for tourism. It is the national emblem of a country, symbolizing the country. It has a special significance. Everything on the national emblem symbolizes important meanings, which are not controversial and can be known by understanding history. There is no hidden meaning, it directly expresses the meaning symbolized by the graphic. I chose this as the symbol of the country because it has a special symbolic meaning for the country.
