If any of y’all didn’t know, there’s a free online library, aka
https://openlibrary.org/
and I found like, twelve ebooks I’ve been wanting to read on there, and blasted through like three of them during the course of a boring-ass shift.

I think the key message in all of parts of CAOS is that if someone had listened to Ambrose, none of what ended up happening would have happened.

okay i see everybody complaining about the ending of the chilling adventures of sabrina and i get it, the fourth part wasnt perfect and had mistakes. however, you also have to remember that the show finished filming in february and got cancelled in july. there was supposed to be more. that is probably not the finale they intended.

Chilling Adventures of LGBTQ+ Representation - An Essay
From the moment I watched Part 1 of CAOS in 2018, I was hooked. I fell in love with the characters so quickly that I converted my entire tumblr blog and was dedicated to posting about the show. As the years have gone by I’ve acknowledged the show’s faults, as have many other fans, but for the most part I’ve tried not to think about it too hard.
I can’t not think about it anymore. As a young queer woman who has been queerbaited and misrepresented by media my ENTIRE life, I have many thoughts about the way Chilling Adventures of Sabrina handled their lgbtq+ representation throughout the four parts of the show.
I guess an essay has to have a thesis so here’s mine: The LGBTQ+ ‘representation’ in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is very harmful, if it can even be considered representation at all.
I am going to delve into not only ships, but also the way queerness is handled in general throughout the different tones and side stories of the show.
Am I at all qualified to analyze this? Well I’m not a professional but I am queer and I’ve had plenty of time to think about this over the last couple of years. We’re going to jump around a bit, so bear with me. Here are my thoughts.
Please Be Aware - anything below this break contains mentions of homophobia, religion based homophobia, and CAOS Part 4 Spoilers

Throbin concepts to consider:
Robin resting his chin gently on top of Theo’s head
Casually holding hands in the halls
Theo standing on his tippy toes to kiss Robin
The two of them sharing a chair
The two of them sharing a bed
Robin carrying Theo (idc what the context is but I want it angsty)
Good morning kisses
Just… Theo and Robin.

robin was willing to lose everything that made him who was just so he could stay with theo, but theo made him go because he didn’t want robin giving up everything just to be with him. even when they did get back together it was because they realized they were meant to be together. they are the definition of soulmates.

So, let me guess– you just started a new book, right? And you’re stumped. You have no idea how much an AK47 goes for nowadays. I get ya, cousin. Tough world we live in. A writer’s gotta know, but them NSA hounds are after ya 24/7. I know, cousin, I know. If there was only a way to find out all of this rather edgy information without getting yourself in trouble…
You’re in luck, cousin. I have just the thing for ya.
It’s called Havocscope. It’s got information and prices for all sorts of edgy information. Ever wondered how much cocaine costs by the gram, or how much a kidney sells for, or (worst of all) how much it costs to hire an assassin?
I got your back, cousin. Just head over to Havocscope.
((PS: In case you’re wondering, Havocscope is a database full of information regarding the criminal underworld. The information you will find there has been taken from newspapers and police reports. It’s perfectly legal, no need to worry about the NSA hounds, cousin ;p))
