Following the successful implementation of the Neo World Program against the Remnants of Despair, Future Foundation learned all of the wrong lessons. They tasked Alter Ego with incorporating Killing Game simulations into the Neo World rehabilitation protocols.

It was decided that Ryota Mitarai's ideas were valid, he simply went too far in attempting to brainwash the world. Not mind control, but a global broadcast to remind everyone around the world of Hope's supremacy? Future Foundation felt that would be a good antidote to the Despair that had reigned unchecked after the Tragedy.

So began the age of Ultimate Hope. Each year, fifteen students infested by despair would be selected and entered into the Neo World Program. Alter Ego would concoct a fictional scenario for them to undergo, appropriating the imagery of Monokuma and Junko Enoshima. Corrupting them as they once corrupted the Neo World Program.

All under the guidance of a subordinate program to Alter Ego, taking the role of Chiaki Nanami for each season; Someone who would monitor the students from within, report back to Alter Ego, and keep the game moving. Sometimes male, sometimes female, blonde, brunette, tall, short. A new name and new identity, a different guise for each new season that could be changed as easily as flicking a switch.

The events within the program would then be broadcast globally, so all the world could watch with bated breath as Hope triumphs over Despair again and again and again. Season after season, year after year, students living out a twisted mockery of Junko's games as a perpetual reminder of Despair's futility.

With little regard for the long-term effects that being used like this would have on the selected children's psyches. Traumatizing vulnerable children for someone's idea of the greater good.

Everytime I see a post about Luigi being gay/bi (even if only mention in the comments), people are mentiong Bowuigi. But GUYS. There's literally PRINCE PEASLEY! We know Luigi is bi (or gay if people see him and Daisy as mlm and wlw solidarity). I will defend Luigi not being straight for the prince of the Beanbean Kingdom.

actually crying rewatching MCD. Finally got back to watching it for season 2. I can't believe I am crying over these block people (I can and I love these characters)

I may have given my OC, Timothy, an always at least semi-tragic love life in any universe I could give him. There's his childhood best friend (Constance) who was his first love but died young in their original universe. BUT there's also this traumatized, fellow inventor he meets as an adult who is so immediately enamored with him because Timothy isn't judgmental over scars and metal pieces replacing parts of the body (this is a steampunk world for further context).

The thing is that Timothy is annoyed with him at first but still opens up to him. That's how the other character (Junior) hears about Timothy's first love for the first time. There's so much adoration and memory Timothy holds for Constance that it makes Junior wonder why she's not there with him. Despite his own adoration, Junior is a romantic at heart and can see Timothy was genuinely in love with Constance.

The only reason so far that Timothy and Junior would ever get together in any universe is because Constance is out if the picture in some way (because she was and is a vital person in Timothy's life and morals)

Does this mean there is no universe where all three are in a poly relationship? No. Both relationships are canon in my heart (as the creator of them). Only dynamic that remains unclear to me still is how Junior and Constance would ever interact, but Epic: The Musical may have given me some ideas for at least a younger Junior and Constance's ghost bonding.
