Carter smiled down at her. "Are you alright?" He asked softly. "And please, it's just us. The others have gone, there's no need for titles. Just Carter is fine."

Carter would smile and look down at his food. Once breakfast was over he waited in the halls, wanting to speak to Lexi without the other girls noticing.

Carter smiled and spoke kindly to the girls, knowing he needed to give everyone a chance. Still every once in awhile he would glance over at Lexi.

Carter's eyes fell on her and he was tempted to get up and sit by her but he didn't want to be rude to the ladies that were already taking to him.

Abigail looked at her curiously. "Well, either way it seems like you have a good shot of winning his heart at the moment." She smiled at her.

The doors to the side opened and Carter walked out, moving to sit in his seat at the head of the table in the middle, immediately being greeted by the girls nearby.

Some of the girls had already made their way there and found seats, while the rest lingered in the halls for a moment more. Abigail saw Lexi and waved at her.

A servant knocked on the door and informed Lexi that breakfast was to be served very soon. Most of the girls were already dressed and ready to go, already standing in the halls whispering to each other.
