I'll have other thoughts about Lower Decks as I consider the series more holistically over the next few days, but I would say at this point that among all of nuTrek, I think it is, by far, the most successful on the terms it set for itself.

Those terms may or may not be everyone's cup of tea, and fair play to that, but Lower Decks staked out what it wanted to do, what it was going to be about, and then delivered consistently. And in this day and age, when it seems like basic structure is so far out of reach of so much TV, that's not nothing.

Emergency Update:

Summary: My mom and I are Homeless and have been for months, my mom has chronic bronchitis and severe arthritis both of which are exacerbated by the cold. I also have arthritis as well as HS which is flairing up pretty badly right now.

On top of that My sister is in the process of leaving her abuser and the courts denied her request to have us put on the restraining order too, even though hes been threatening us for months.

We can't be out on the streets.

I have literally negative dollars in my accounts and my mom and sister are broke as well.

Out of desperation we went back to her apartment just to have a safe roof over our heads but her Landlord is an asshole and is again threatening to evict her for having "unauthorized guests"

Mom gets paid on the 1st and the paperwork for me to get paid for babysitting my sisters kids is being processed so I do have a paycheck coming at some point but it's in the states hands and we all know how efficient they are [sarcasm]

If anyone could spare any money to help keep us off the street that would be amazing and so incredibly appreciated.
