With the hero chained up, the villain unveils their masterpiece: a weapon that tracks everyone who loves the hero before obliterating them. The map powers on. “Wait. There’s just one dot.” The Villain says. “…Someone loves me?” The hero replies with hope.

Humans are really respected throughout the galaxy. Not because of strenght, intelligence or speed, but because the have hands that always find The Spot Behind The Ears, and can tame every apex predator in the galaxy.

You are on the run from a dragon. Not because it wants to kill you, quite the opposite in fact. This dragon hoards powerful adventurers and unfortunately your skills caught its eye. Now it will stop at nothing until you are a part of its guild.

Shadow and Bone portrait #2! The Wraith.
Also, I'm adding the order of when I'll be painting, and I'll add the links as I finish each!

Remember when I started a titans portrait series...well Shadow and Bone consumes all. P.S. crows come first.
Also, I'm adding the order of when I'll be painting, and I'll add the links as I finish each!

Humans generate an Anti-Magic Field, and are the only sentient species known to do so. This poses a major problem for the galactic community, as humans keep trying to make contact and everyone keeps having to evacuate and flee the area. The humans wonder why alien tech just seems to fall apart.

An announcement is played all across the earth, “We recently discovered your patron deity has committed gross negligence. He has been promptly sacked and a new deity has been given His position, effective immediately. Apologies for the slow response in dealing with this issue.”

You are a B-list superhero on the verge of losing your job. During a battle with a villain, you accidentally end up killing one of the most prolific superheroes of your time. That’s when you realize that with your niché power that is useless as a hero, you could be an A-list supervillain.

PoC Characters with Vitiligo
Anonymous said: Is there anything special (I mean, besides the general sensitivity and depth any POC character should be written with) I should know or be careful about while writing a brown-skinned girl with vitiligo in a fictional world?
Anonymous said: hey there, ive looked through the navi and your guide to skin colour has helped immensely! this might be a silly question, but i was wondering; is there anything you guys think i should avoid or strive for when writing PoC (the character is a dark skinned asian) with vitiligo? i’ve seen a few words going around (cloudy skin, reference to dark/light blotches) and my research hasn’t specified what to potentially avoid (harmful language and the like). thank you for your time!
f-u-other-yangerang said: Hello! Are there any tropes I should avoid when it comes to writing a character with Vitligo? I’m starting a Cyberpunkesce story, and one of the three main characters is a half indian- half undetermined (either african-american, aboriginal, Caribbean or Japanese) girl with vitligo and two choclea implants. Anything to avoid? The random slew of races is due to me not really having a concrete idea of where it’s set, it’s just in a huge city.
Anonymous said: Hello! I was wondering how someone should go about writing a dark-skinned character who’s experiencing vertiligo respectfully? I’m worried it may seem like white-washing? Also, do you have any general resources about dark poc experiencing vertiligo. Thank you!
Hey guys!
As none of us mods have vitiligo, we do not wish to speak over others who do have it, so we thought it best to provide you resources by people with vitiligo and tips on how to get your answers.
myvitiligostory - tumblr - this blog looks to be a space for people with vitiligo to share pictures and their stories (note I saw a couple pornographic images and some non-porn nudity so fyi!). As this seems to be a safe space (and not active since last spring) I really wouldn’t throw your questions at them.
Google “vitiligo story” - you’ll come across a lot of stories of people with vitilgo talking about their challenges and life, including some videos. Some accept comments and questions.
Cheri’s Story - Elena’s story - My Vitilgo Story (video) Hear about how they talk about themselves, what sort of micro-aggressions and blatant aggressions they face, growing pains, joys, and just daily life. I can say that if your story is not about their vitilgo but rather a person with vitilgo, make that so then. It is a piece of their life, not their life. Don’t become hyper-focused on their vitilgo. On the other hand, don’t fetishize or exotify them for it either, though it’s something they could potentially face.
Vitiligo tags - Try to reach out to people with vitiligo willing to help you by posing your questions with relevant tags on tumblr or elsewhere & asking if anyone would be willing to answer some questions. Consider these interviewing tips in your discussion and always be respectful of the time they’re taking to help you.
Any followers with vitiligo who would like to offer their words and advice, please be our guest and thanks much! ~WWC
