Romeo Beckham, second eldest child of footballer David Beckham and Spice Girl’s Victoria, was hired by Burberry to model its latest trench coat in one of the promotional images of the brand’s spring and summer 2013 campaign. Shot by celebrity photographer Mario Testino, 10-year-old Romeo is seen wearing Burberry’s iconic trench coat like a pro. The Burberry ad campaign has a video that also features Romeo along with top models such as Cara Delevingne, Max Rendell, and Alex Dunstan.

Dolce and Gabbana’s Plea for Case Dismissal Rejected by Italian Court

The Italian judge handling the tax evasion case of Dolce and Gabbana rejected the plea of the fashion duo’s attorney to dismiss the trial against them and many other associates. Judge Antonella Brambilla decided that the case has merits; which means that the trial will go on as scheduled, starting on January of next year. Dolce and Gabbana have been accused of tax evasion crime amounting to €420 million, amount that they should have paid their government when they sold their brands D&G and Dolce & Gabbana to their company Gado Srl.

British designer Stella McCartney, who worked on the Great Britain’s Team Olympics 2012 uniform, finds herself on top of the 2012 Google Zeitgeist annual most search term lists as the most popular fashion brand. Earlier, she received another fashion-related title of the Designer of the Year, which was given to her by the British Fashion Awards. Placing second to McCartney was German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. Victoria’s Secret, Alice Temperley, and Versace, captured the third, fourth, and fifth place respectively.

Lady Gaga’s lost Emporio Armani Shoe is placed on auction at Paris’ Drouot Richelieu auction house. This shoe, which fits the right foot of Gaga, was last worn by the quirky pop superstar at one of her concert during her 2010 Monster Ball Tour in Bercy Stadium in Paris. Out of appreciation for a highly enthusiastic crowd, she decided to throw the shoe at the audience. The shoe, which is estimated at more than $6,000, goes for auction on February 11.

The Les Miserables premiere took place in London’s Odeon and Empire Cinemas in Leicester Square. Present at the event were the stars of the events, like Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, and Russell Crowe.
