Another Journey With The Moon Goddess || Clara Lockhart
It was that time again. After almost a year of staying at camp training and creating more supplies for her Sisters, Clara was invited to return to Artemis’ side for the hunt.
Proud and prepared, Clara Lockhart hugged her Sisters staying at camp and said goodbye to her siblings before heading out of the borders. She’d return to camp as soon as the lady Artemis gave her another break.
But, for now, she was ready to be a huntress on the field once more.

“Oh god; he would have been petrified. Though Nine’s not the stalker type. He’s makes me very calm, so him leaving doesn’t make things better.” Elsie grumbled as she shrugged her shoulders.
Clara huffed. She crossed her arms. “I see... Well, the fact I did not attack him then and there does mean a lot. So if you say so, I believe you. And are you not a very calm woman?”

“Uhhh, Nine. He’s a son of Athena.”
Clara’s eyes widened and then narrowed. “Ugh, that boy! He was in the woman’s shower area when I was showering! I nearly stabbed him with a shampoo bottle... He best thank the Gods I believed he hadn’t meant to be a stalker.”

Shai tilted her head at the girl who came forward and rolled her eyes. Fantastic, another stick in the mud. She turned her body slightly so that her legs were dangling off the roof towards the girl down below. “Depends. Do you call it creepily wandering the camp in the dark, alone while prowling on people who don’t have time for dullness?”
“I am not prowling, I am taking a walk in the moonlight. It eases me.” Clara narrows her eyes at the other. “I suppose you are a daughter of Nyx?”

“Not all men are bad. Girls do the same to guys in some cases. I’m sure he has his reasons anyway, but I’m kicking his backside if he comes back.”
“This is... Who is this boy?”

noxangelxelsie:
Elsie looked at the huntress and sighed. “Not so much as betrayal; but more of abandonment.” She bit her lip. “One of my closest friends and I just became more than friends, and now he’s left camp. No note or anything.”
“Abandonment is betrayal... Betrayal of the heart. Men often cause things like this. They are more trouble than they’re worth.”

“I see betrayal in your eyes.” Clara tilted her head a bit, her expression serious but calm. But the huntress was always ready to help a maiden. “What happened?”
Elsie was angry, but sad. Not even a few days after becoming Nine’s girlfriend, he disappeared from the face of camp, without even saying goodbye to her. She didn’t know how to feel, Elsie cared about him enough to open her heart to him but now she felt abandoned. Wiping the tears from her face as she finally emerged from her cabin just to sit on the steps, a figure sat down next to her. “What the hell do you want?” She growled, glaring at the person next to her.

Clara looked up, brows furrowing in a bit of a stern look. The huntress rarely joked around unless it was an occasion amongst her Sisters. “Fun? Is that what you would call sitting in the dark alone on a rooftop?”
It was well past lights out, but as per usual, Shai was wide awake and ready to prowl. However, seeing as the rest of the camp was more or less tucked into their cabins, Shai just sat upon the roof of her own cabin; bored and mindlessly playing with shadows. Just as she was about to quit, she heard a snap of a twig from the ground below her. Wasting no time, Shai swiftly turned her shadow into a dagger and threw it at the tree next to where the sound came from. A smirk formed on her lips, “I can see you. And please, spare boring the ever loving shit out of me with a lecture about camp rules and come have a little fun. That is, if you know how.”

"Will do. I wish you and your companion all the best," she says seriously. While Clara was still annoyed at being barged into while showering, she felt sympathetic for the other girl's coming adventure. It would not be easy. It never was for halfbloods.
clara-lockhart:
“Of course,” Clara responded with a small nod. She then narrowed her eyes. “Now get dressed and leave, you must get your quest partner and inform Chiron before it’s too late.”
¸.•*¨) ¸ “Yeah, yeah… I am already on my way,” Rey gave Clara a small nod while grabbing her things, ready to leave the shower. “Thanky for your advice. And maybe pray me and the Hemera child make it back.” @clara-lockhart

“Clubs, mallets, wooden trunks… usually the like unless my sisters say differently.” As if on cue the group of hunters began to explain how the encampment looked like - with metal weapons large enough for Cyclopes and even what looked like a chainsaw. Clara pursed her lips as she listened. When they finished speaking, the hunters nodded to each other and dismissed the group. Clara turned to Alexandria. “Any questions or concerns?”
clara-lockhart:
Clara smiles a bit, as if a toddler has just told her something amusing. “Nothing is unstoppable, Alexandria,” she said gently as they stopped among the rest of the hunters and demigod girls. “Now pay attention. The patrol will let us know exactly what we are going after.” A group of three hunters without partners walked over to the group and one of them cleared her throat. “Northwest, one mile is an encampment of cyclopes. Canadians.” A couple of the other hunters groaned and pursed their lips. “She means Hyperboreans,” Clara murmured to Alexandria.
A small smile followed Clara’s remark, though it is anything but humble. Perhaps the huntress has been alive a few centuries, but she’s clearly never encountered a blend of Athena’s wisdom and a Conway’s determination. However, the topic was quickly forgotten as she listened carefully to the assessment of their targets. With a nod of acknowledgement towards Clara, she glanced at the huntress who spoke up a moment ago. “ Do we know what they’re armed with ? ”

"Of course... Best of luck," she said with furrowed brows as she watched the other leave. Clara had seen many demigods fail to return from quests but she had a feeling this one would be different.

¸.•*¨) ¸ Rey shrugged and nodded while listening to all Clara was saying. Even with never admitting it until now, the hunter was someone she would look up to. Clara was strong, and brave, and that were both things Rey would always respect. “I see. Thank you very much. I only can hope that, whatever is up with this new demigod, does not lead us to have to fight any sort of monsters. Not that I would complain. But I would prefer to bring this guy here alive and in one piece, ya know?” @clara-lockhart

“ Ah, I see. I’d be inclined to agree with you, then. There’s a third factor to consider, however, and that’s p o w e r. Strength and power, that’s what makes the Big Three such an asset. Wisdom and power, that’s what makes you unstoppable. ”

nine-oh-nine:
Nine visibly shuddered at the thought. Damien`s wolf-dog was already huge, what about a real one? “Y-Ye…” He bowed his head a little. “Mianhe. I mean, I`m really sorry… I, um, I should go before anyone else comes in?”
Clara glared and pointed to the exit wordlessly. As he turned she spoke. “You best watch yourself. Next time I may be less forgiving.”
