After some intense practice I think I have finally made a bit of progress, had to backward first trough. But feel close to conquering turning o to a new row. Getting a tor of single crochet on the foundation chain is one achievement more are elusive and may take another few months.

Christmas 2022 has come and gone…
I am still practicing and not close to adding a row. I have changed tactics and am following a new video which does chain stitch and first row at the same time.

ENOUGH…
This is a very slow process and my negative results are becoming a chore to wright down, so will not post again until I get it. It is now 28/11/2022 we shall see if I get it by Christmas . I am not defeated yet.

I can now her on to the next row and do a stitch, but am struggling with dexterity, I can’t seem to place the hook, hold the yarn and make the stitch.😫😫😫

You haven’t missed much over the last few days I can’t get past the first row of chain stitch. I have ordered some light, Aran yarn which makes it easier to see what I’m doing. Hope it helps.
