Oh absolutely. People are always so baffled when I tell them that I refuse to call myself human. I've had maybe humorous situations where I've called someone human or said something about me not being human. The look that people get is always priceless.

casually call people “human” to unsettle them and make them question what sort of being you are

Writer Appreciation Day

So, I thought I should shout out to my love for all the writers I love

Noticed that past tense? Good

I am not going to tag Anyone on this post. Not because I am shy, not because I don’t want to forget anyone.

I am not doing that because What I am about to say is for every writer, not just in the fandom, but to everyone on this site or just visits It.

You are fantastic, let’s just get that out of the way first.

And yes, I know You want to argue (I would) But I mean It. No matter if you are a famous writer who is selling books and millions had read your story, no matter if your blog is dedicated to one fandom or mixing many and scribble down scenarios for that, no matter if you are a little blog, trying to swim in this Huge ocean We call Tumblr, no matter if you only write stories to yourself, keeping those drafts and drabbles in a neat pile in your drawer.

You are fantastic for What you are doing and don’t let Anyone tell you otherwise. Especially yourself.

There are So many of us and We all differ So much, which always makes us question ourselves; “this person can write a fic in a day while I struggle for a month, am I even good?” “I always have to look up synonyms because I use the same words too much, maybe I should just give up hoping I can be better?”

Let me tell you something

Learning how to be better at writing AND comparing yourself to a writer to See how “good” you are is NOT the same.

Sure, you can learn from other writers. Different words, different idioms, you can get help from them when It comes to writing a certain type of character in a situation. But all those that I just listed are simply different ways of writing. They chose to do that And just because you didn’t /don’t, that doesnt mean You are “bad” at What you are doing

Just simply keep going. I know im saying “simple” while its much harder than It is, But don’t give up. Because Every writer, no matter your style, can find people who love their work.

Just because you have smaller followers, doesn’t mean You are not “good”

Just because you don’t show your work to others, doesn’t mean You are not “good”

None of that means that you are not doing something amazing with those words you write or type down. Believing in yourself is hard But It is possible. And there are always others who will believe you too. Just like now I do in all of you

As I said before

You are all fantastic

Don’t forget that

And don’t let Anyone tell you otherwise 💜

Hey everyone! This is an emergency. My sister and her kitty need your help!! She came home from work to find that he had thrown up and peed on the floor and was just laying there, panting and whimpering. She rushed him to the animal hospital right then. He has to have more tests run to see what exactly the problem is, but my sister is already in bad shape financially (over $1,200 in expenses overnight). She’s scared and so am I because this little devil means the world to us. I love him more than life itself. And I think my sis should be able to make decisions solely based off of what is best for Ziggy, regardless of cost. So I started up this GoFundMe to help ease some of her stress. Please, PLEASE donate if you can. Or spread the word, anything would be a huge help to us!! I can’t even imagine living without my precious nephew. 💔
