Some little sketchy progress of CK.

Image 1 - The rough sketch. Body, sword and swirling flames are all on their own layer.

Image 2 - Thin but still rough linework for the body.

Image 3 - No sword. As much as I love CK’s sword, I was having a hard time drawing him holding it.

Image 4 - Clean lines for the body.

Image 5 - Linework for the flames.

Image 6 - Complete linework. 

Image 7 - Flat colours applied with minor highlights in hair and eyes.

Image 8 - Flames added with highlights, lowlights and glow effects. Also the colour pallet on the side.

Image 9 - Shadows and highlights/warm lights added.

Image 10 - Complete with glow light, rim light and layer filters.

Older sketches and art of CK. These were done when I was attending school for 3D animation (2016/17). CK has gone through some design tweaks throughout the years. You can compare to some of the newer sketches here.

I also tend to toss CK into all sorts of fandoms, Supernatural and Assassin's Creed just being some of them.

Haven't posted anything on here for a while, at least art wise. So here's my boy, my OC, CK. These pieces were done this year or at the most, last year (2018/19). And with this also being a cosplay and art blog, I have some cosplay shots of CK.

So who is this devilishly handsome fellow? Well, for one thing, CK is a devil, a demon/vampire hybrid (too long to explain backstory here). CK (short for Curtis Knight but everyone just calls him CK) is a fairly good guy or chaotic neutral. He likes working on his cars and helping those in need. He's always opening up his doors to anyone that is in trouble or just needs a place to stay for the night. A bonus is that you'll get one of his home cooked meals as CK enjoys to cook. The chaotic part of him is that he cares about his family and friends, and if you are adopted under his wing of care, CK will go to no ends to protect you from whatever evils (he may also take a small amount of pleasure messing up someone else day). In other words, he'll put himself in harm's way and literally die for you, just to make sure you are ok. So the lesson is, don't get on his bad side, piss him off or mess with those he cares about, you'll get the sharp end of the blade (literally).
