Half Life
Half-Life is a first-person shooter that requires the player to perform combat tasks and puzzle solving to advance through the game. Compared to most first-person shooters of the time, which relied on cut-scene intermissions to detail their plotlines, Half-Life's story is told mostly by means of scripted sequences, keeping the player in control of the first-person viewpoint. In line with this the player rarely loses the ability to control Gordon, who never speaks and is never actually seen in the game; the player sees "through his eyes" for the entire length of the game. Half-Life has no "levels"; it instead divides the game into chapters, whose titles flash on the screen as the player moves through the game. Progress through the world is continuous, except for short pauses for loading.
The game regularly integrates puzzles, such as navigating a maze of conveyor belts or using nearby boxes to build a small staircase to the next area the player must travel to. Some puzzles involve using the environment to kill an enemy, like turning on a steam valve to spray hot steam at their enemies. There are few "bosses" in the conventional sense, where the player defeats a superior opponent by direct confrontation. Instead, such organisms occasionally define chapters, and the player is generally expected to use the terrain, rather than firepower, to kill the "boss". Late in the game, the player receives a "long jump module" for the HEV suit, which allows the player to increase the horizontal distance and speed of jumps by crouching before jumping. The player must rely on this ability to navigate various platformer-style jumping puzzles in Xen toward the end of the game.
For the most part the player battles through the game alone, but is occasionally assisted by non-player characters; specifically security guards and scientists who help the player; the guards will fight alongside the player, and both guards and scientists can assist in reaching new areas and impart relevant plot information. A wide array of alien enemies populate the game, including headcrabs, bullsquids, headcrab zombies, and Vortigaunts. The player also faces human opponents, in particular, Hazardous Environment Combat Unit (HECU) Marines and black ops assassins who are dispatched to contain the extra-dimensional threats and silence all witnesses.

Pacman Race / Pacman - World Rally
is a kart racing game in the Pac-Man series. The game has 15 race tracks and a battle mode similar to other kart racing games. In addition, there are four battle arenas for multiplayer action. You will also be able to collect power-ups to attack opponents or gain an edge in the race, as well as Pac-Man's signature fruit pickups, which in Pac-Man World Rally unlock secret shortcuts. There are 14 characters for the player to choose from.
Pac-Man World Rally contains gameplay that is standard to kart racing games. It also contains a 4-player multiplayer mode where you can access characters from both the Pac-Man world and many other Bandai Namco games. Pac-boxes are available on the track and allow the player the gift of one item. Pac-dots are also available on the racetrack. Each Pac-dot collected helps the player's meter go up. Once it is full, the player can press the specified button and turn into Pac-Man, and all the other players turn into blue (vulnerable) ghosts. If the Pac-Man eats any of the blue ghosts, the blue ghosts will stop for a while and get a major disadvantage on the track. This event only lasts eight seconds. A fruit activation button is on the racetrack. When the player runs over the button, fruit is scattered around the racetrack. When you run over the fruit, it allows the shortcut that corresponds with the fruit to become open for player.

ICY TOWER
Icy Tower is a freeware computer game. It is a platform game set in a tower, where the player's goal is to jump from one "floor" to the next and go as high as possible without falling and plunging off the screen. The higher the player's character climbs, the faster the tower's floors move downward and the harder the game becomes. By default, the player controls the character using a keyboard.
The player starts the game on the tower's ground floor. To climb the tower, the player must jump from floor to floor (default control: spacebar). The character can pass through the floors from below but lands on them when falling from above. Once the player has landed on a floor, he can move across its surface using the arrow keys. By moving across the floor, the player builds momentum for the next jump. The character can also bounce off the vertical walls on the left and right edges of the tower, allowing them to switch direction while maintaining momentum.
If a player builds enough momentum, he can climb several floors in a single jump. Extended sequences of such multi-floor jumps are referred to as combos. A combo ends when a player makes a jump which covers only one floor, falls off a floor and lands on a lower floor, or fails to make a jump within a certain time frame (about 3 seconds).
At the start of the game, the tower's floors are stationary. When the player reaches floor 5, the floors begin to move slowly downward. Every thirty seconds, the floors' downward speed increases and the game tells the player to "Hurry up!" If the player misses a floor and falls off the bottom of the screen, the game ends. It also ends if the player is standing on a floor that moves off the bottom of the screen. The goal is to reach the highest possible floor and accumulate the greatest number of points. Points are awarded based on the highest floor reached.

Asphalt 8: Airborne is a very racing game, perilously tied to a frustrating business model. The sheer sensation of speed and momentum, natural controls, and wealth of content make it highly recommendable, but it has a tendency to put up unnecessary roadblocks with constant reminders that you can purchase your way around them.
Asphalt 8’s addition to the series, the air stunts, are a nice twist that offer nitro boosts as rewards, which gives them a risk-reward dynamic. Taking to the air is often slower than sticking to the streets, so making split-second decisions about whether I could spare that time to make it up with the boost I’d earn helps add tension to races. The physics occasionally behave erratically, leading to a jump or spin not behaving like you’d expect and flubbing the trick. It’s rare, but it can be a bother.
Asphalt is lengthy, offering eight seasons of increasing speed classes and 180 races in all, plus a full-fledged online mode with all the maps and race types available. Most of the races are standard multi-car or one-on-one matches. The longevity is a double-edged sword to some extent, since the large number of events means each of those maps get repeated several times. Sure, it’s fun speeding down the streets of Barcelona in a faster car, but after a dozen or so times I knew the turns so well that I’d either win easily, or be hopelessly outmatched by better cars. Skill was no longer the deciding factor; it all came down to purchasing better vehicles.
A few modes do offer more inventive race types. Infection became a quick favorite of mine – it gives all the “infected” racers unlimited boosts, but with the constant threat of burning out once the infection passes if you fail to add time by spreading it. Another mode, Knockdown, emphasizes the race aspect and instead has you attempt to cause more crashes than your opponent.
To keep these events spread out, the pacing is dictated by collecting stars to unlock new seasons of races. They’re granted by winning races, or fulfilling special conditions like a certain number of drifts or takedowns. Within the seasons, certain events require a particular car that can be purchased with in-game currency. By the time I reached the mid-point, the hodgepodge of car requirements felt like an unworkable maze. I constantly needed more stars, but by that point progression required me to spend a large wad of cash on a car that might only be useful for one event. I would begrudgingly buy it, earn the five stars available in that event, and then go looking for another that could slowly inch me towards the next season.

Marvel vs. Capcom
is a series of crossover fighting games developed and published by Capcom, featuring characters from their own video game franchises and comic book series published by Marvel Comics. The series originated as coin-operated arcade games, though later releases would be specifically developed for home consoles, handhelds, and personal computers.
Its gameplay borrows heavily from Capcom's previous Marvel-licensed fighting games X-Men: Children of the Atom and Marvel Super Heroes; however, instead of focusing on single combat, the games incorporated tag team battles. Players form teams of two or three characters and, controlling one fighter at a time, attempt to damage and knock out their opponents. Players can switch out their characters during the match, allowing team members to replenish their health and prolong their ability to fight. The series' gameplay is also distinguished from other fighting game franchises due to its character assist mechanics and emphasis on aerial combat.

M E T A L S L U G
Metal Slug, is a run and gunvideo game developed and originally released by Nazca Corporation and later published by SNK. It was originally released in 1996 for the Neo Geo MVS arcade platform. The game is widely known for its sense of humor, fluid hand-drawn animation, and fast-paced two-player action. It is the first title in the Metal Slug series. It has been ported to the Neo Geo AES, Neo Geo CD, Sega Saturn, PlayStation, Virtual Console, PlayStation Network, iOS, Android and Neo Geo X, and to the Wii, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
The player must shoot constantly at a continual stream of enemies in order to reach the end of each level. At this point, the player confronts a boss, who is usually considerably larger and tougher than regular enemies. On the way through each level, the player can find numerous weapon upgrades and "Metal Slug" tanks. The tank is known as the SV-001 ("SV" stands for Super Vehicle), which not only increases the player's offense, but considerably adds to their defense.
In addition to shooting, the player can also perform melee attacks by using a knife. The player does not die simply by coming into contact with enemies, and correspondingly, many of the enemy troops also have melee attacks. Much of the game's scenery is also destructible, and occasionally, this reveals extra items or power-ups, although most of the time it simply results in collateral damage.
During the course of a level, the player also encounters POWs, who, if freed, offer the player bonuses in the form of random items or weapons. At the end of each level, the player receives a scoring bonus based on the number of freed POWs. If the player dies before the end of the level, the tally of freed POWs reverts to zero.
There are a total of six levels, in locations such as forests, garrisoned cities, snowy mountain valleys, canyons, and military bases. The vast majority of enemies are soldiers equipped with weaponry befitting their specific role. There are also several mechanized enemies, such as tanks, mobile artillery, aircraft, armored personnel carriers and technicals. Much of the game's humor comes from how the enemies are depicted; the player often encounters them as they are sunbathing, roasting food over a fire, or simply conversing amongst themselves. They also tend to scream loudly if they see the player, and often try to run away.

Catch Up Catch Up is a simple one player digital ball game where the player drags the ball to left or right to pass through the obstacles. The play can be compared to a bowling game but the difference is the ball needs to avoid the walls. The player can also make the ball jump over a wall by going to a certain spot that was marked by a red circle. The player has an AI opponent that the player needs to surpass and bump into it to get additional points. Technically Cath Up does not have all the elements. It does not have premise and outcome. In any ways the game contains other elements. The objective of the game is to beat the high score. The game is played within a specific area. The moving walls give more thrills and challenge to the player. The game is so simple that others may not be entertained or satisfied.

The journey of creating a new concept from combined ideas of different game was fun. It seems so hard at first as our professor asked us to create a new concept of a game after we tried different games. In the first thought you will think about what game you will create. But it is hard to create a new concept of a game from an empty paper. Then we realized. Why dont we just create a new concept from something rather than nothing? And we end up combining ideas of different games to form a new one. We tried card games such as pusoy dos, unggoy ungguyan, and lucky 9. Using the combined ideas from those games, we came up to a new game and we called it "Shameless Monkey". It is a more thrilling version of unggoy ungguyan. We added some list of dares numbered as 1 to 13. Every card number have corresponding funny consequences that makes the game more fun. As my experience. I learned that not just the game that gives fun and happiness. But there's also fun in making it. #playtest

L4D2 Game Experience
Gaming is one of the most popular computer activities. New technologies are constantly arriving to make it possible to develop better and more powerful games that can be run in any standards-compliant web browser.
Game Development is the process of creating a game. The effort is undertaken by a game developer which may range from a single person to a team.
Left 4 dead or L4D2 is the highly aticipated sequel to the awward-winning L4D2 the number 1 co-op game in the year 2008.
this game takes you and your friends through the cities, swamps and cemeteries of the Deep South, from Savannah to New Orleans across five expansive campaigns. You'll play as one of four new survivors armed with a wide and devastating array of classic and upgraded weapons. In addition to firearms, you'll also get a chance to take out some aggression on infected with a variety of carnage-creating melee weapons, from chainsaws to axes and even the deadly frying pan. You'll be putting these weapons to the test against (or playing as in Versus) three horrific and formidable new Special Infected. You'll also encounter five new uncommon and common kinds of infected zombies.
As I play the game it was slight scary and shocking sometimes. The game have a nice graphics that made the players more excited and also good graphics gives the game a very good impression. I encountered different types of zombies the hunter, smoker, boomer, tanker, jocky, spitter, charger, witch, and the common infected zombies. Different types of zombies have different attributes, special attacks, life size, and strength that makes the game harder and exciting. The player's goal is to went through different safe house to survive. The game have different maps that made me play more and excited.
After playing the game.I was quite happy talking about the game and my experience about the game to my friends and invite them to play with me as a team to have a more exciting and thrilling game experience.
