The arcane fandom is far too large now guys we need to start downsizing. Hi, I’m Cinnimi! I use they/he pronouns but I really dgaf so if you use she/her I probably wouldn’t even notice. I might post art occasionally, but I don’t expect this to be an art blog by any means, especially since I don’t make as much fanart as I used to and now primarily make standalone paintings.

I’m so sick of watching everyone bash Dear Evan Hansen bc they have convinced themselves it’s bad so they do everything in their power to not think about it deeper than surface level. “It says no one deserves to disappear while actively erasing Connor” YES DID YOU EVER CONSIDER THAT WAS MAYBE THE POINT. Bc when they sing that, Evan is actively lying about being friends with Connor and fabricating a completely false narrative about him bc he didn’t actually know him. In reality, Connor was extremely depressed, mean, and a drug addict. That was all Evan knew him as, so in order to keep up the facade he had to craft an entirely new, likable person. Evan is not a good person nor a bad person. At his core, he’s human and he does bad shit that he doesn’t just get away with. His erasure of Connor has entirely changed Connor’s legacy and the way he will be remembered, which is not a good thing bc it is nothing like how he actually was in life. If you want an accurate representation of the message of the show, stop cherry picking songs like “Disappear” without analyzing the full context and listen to songs like “Requiem” or “Good For You”. I think everyone misconstrues the message of deh bc they are looking at it from the lens of a happy ending, a full conflict resolution, when really it’s more of a bleak ending bc the damage done to Connor and the lies told can never be reversed now that they’ve been told on such a large scale. That’s life. Not everything can be fixed.

props design for the AFTG show would be so much fucking fun like okay we're using the TKM cover as a reference for designing the racquets but remember they have to be the same height as the goalkeeper and also made of wood and ALSO you should be able to kill a man in one hit. we need knives thin and small enough to be undetectable when concealed inside black sports armbands (???) and also they all need 2000s style flip phones. uniforms need to be ugly as hell and but you're rooting for them anyway, we need not-hockey and not-lacrosse and not-american-football style armour and helmets with cages. the stadium itself seats 65000 people and is WHITE with giant orange fox paws on all walls. the locker room also has to be orange. also the court is a giant plastic box. also the goals aren't goals they're sensors in the wall that light up red when hit. yes those are also see through. we also need an axe and a bag of blood and so many fucking cigarettes.
