SPOILERS - EPISODE 6 OF THE BOYS SEASON 4

that tek cave scene was unnecessary and disturbing. there was no warning given of sa / r@pe at any point, and served no purpose.

i understand how the boys is known for its obscene, gross and downright vile moments purely because they can, but that doesn’t mean they have to. it felt wrongly placed, served no purpose but to introduce (what we know to be) a disturbing supe.

sure we got info for what’ll be frenchie’s predicament next episode (from what i assume), but other than that it was done to make the audience remember how “edgy” and “different” the boys is.

it’s supposed to be a “funny” scene, but considering the reactions i’ve scene, collectively it was anything but.

that episode was INTENSE. for it only being halfway through the series, the amount packed in genuinely made it feel like the finale. can’t tell if that’s a good or a bad thing so far, but i’m hoping it keeps up the energy for the rest of the season.
