Bruce wakes up with the worst headache ever known to man, and all of his children are simultaneously in his room for some odd reason, which, as you can probably guess, does not help him in the slightest. Of course, it had to be today of all days, when he physically couldn’t tell them to shut up or redirect their chaos to something else.

Bruce lets out an inaudible groan as he hears Jason’s voice rise up to an indignant shriek, most likely protesting something that he most definitely did.

“Dickie.” Bruce’s voice crackles quietly, making Bruce wince. “Baby,” Bruce calls again, suppressing the cough that wants to rise up in his throat.

Dick, who is sitting next to him calmly (even though Bruce knows his firstborn is the person who most likely brought the chaos to his room so early in the morning), tilts his head. “Dad?”

“Take my card. Take your siblings. Go get breakfast somewhere, anywhere, and bring me back some food.” Bruce orders, trying to keep how miserable he was feeling out of his voice.

Judging from Dick’s face, he was failing.

“You doing alright?” Dick asked quietly, his eyebrow knit in concern, a look Bruce hates putting there.

“Yes, Birdie. Just a migraine.” Bruce reassures, reaching over and squeezing Dick’s hand lightly, and feeling the tension in his shoulders lessen just a millimeter from seeing Dick’s smile.

Dick rummaged through his bedside drawer, knowing exactly where he kept his wallet, and pocketed one of his many black cards. “Any meds you need me to pick up?”

Bruce tried to think and pull up a mental image of their medicine cabinet, but his head throbbed painfully, leading him to give up. “I trust your judgement.” He said simply, leaving it all in Dick’s hands.

Dick nods and squeezes his hand again, leaning over and pressing a soft kiss to his forehead, just like Bruce had done ever since he was a child and had his own migraines. “We’ll be back, and we’ll be safe,” Dick says.

Bruce knows a promise when he hears one.

“I love you.” Bruce managed to raise his voice enough so all his children could hear as Dick ushered them out of his room, and from the sounds of it, threw Damian over his shoulder.

Bruce couldn’t help but smile as there were murmurs of agreement and scattered ‘love yous’ back before his room was once again plunged into silence and darkness, one of his children turning the lights off just as his door closed.

It’ll probably be a good day.

South Park Music Headcanons based completely off of vibes

Kyle:

I hate to say this one but, male manipulator music.

Radiohead, the Smiths, Weezer.

He's past the point of no return.

He claims to listen to it so he can understand male manipulators and how they got to be this way, but no one buys that.

He's got some Mitski and Marina and the Diamonds thrown in there too (specifically for when he feels overwhelmed/pressured academically by his parents).

Mostly listens to music while commuting.

Will never pay for Spotify premium, ever.

He will go on for hours about how much he hates Kanye and how harmful his message and tweets are for the Jewish community.

Hates rap music in general to be honest, with the exception of Sir Mix-A-Lot.

Stan:

Has just began listening to alternative/emo music and is slightly embarrassed by it.

Whenever someone asks him about what he listens to, he'll rattle off any popular artist at the time like Travis Scott, but little do they know (they do) that he is rocking out to Gerard Way and Billie Joel Armstrong, at full blast mind you, at home.

He's also a fan of dad-rock because of Randy but will never admit it (not even to himself).

As he gets older, he starts to become more open about what he actually listens to.

Him and Kyle share a lot of similar taste (since they spend so much time together and listen to their discover weekly's together) but Stan's music veers more on the lines of emo than Kyle.

Cartman:

Kanye. World War 3. Dare I suggest .... cousins.

I don't think I have to elaborate any more on this.

Kenny:

His music taste exists on a very limited spectrum.

Rap and/or any music with sexual undertones (he finds them very funny).

Specifically Sir. Mix-a-lot, MSI, Eminem, Tyler the Creator, the occasional white girl song thrown in as well (who is he to say know to Kesha/ Britney Spears).

Mostly listens to music with his friends as he will NOT play his music at home in front of Karen.

References meme songs any chance he gets, much to the annoyance of everyone else.

Butters:

Completely misses the mark when it comes to "good" music.

He doesn't care all that much so he just picks his favourite song based on whatever he hears people talk about.

"Well, this Benson Boone guy sure seems to be popular. Guess he's good then."

He picked his favourite song to be Moonbeam Ice-cream because of this.

Is very partial to jazz however.

His parents ground him for listening to "inappropriate" music. This means rock and rap music or any music they don't like.

Was a Kid-Bop listener up until a couple of months ago.

When he's older he gets really into showtunes.

Craig:

Craig listens to full albums, start to finish and has a special affinity for the 70's (specifically David Bowie because of the space imagery and mood).

Other than that, psychedelic and dad rock.

His taste in music comes (begrudgingly) from his Dad's record/ cd collection.

Doesn't listen on Spotify (because of the abhorrent mistreatment/underpayment of artists especially smaller ones, and because he can be slightly pretentious when it comes to music) he listens on an MP3 player.

Listens to music at all hours of the day, and has a specific album/mood for each scenario.

Tweek is terrified for his hearing but he'd have to prise the max volume music out of Craig's cold, dead hands to stop him.

Wired headphones warrior.

disliked piano music until "put it down".

now he likes it.

has the meanest rbf when listening to music(all the time)

his chullo covers his headphones while he's in school.

He wishes he could go to concerts but the crowds sound awful to him.

Unironically pulled the boombox blasting sad song outside Tweek's window after a (joking) fight.

Likes dancing, especially to Queen with Tweek.

Tweek:

60s rock. Beatles, the Beach Boys etc. Don't ask me where I got this, this is not scientific at all.

He's partial to Vocaloids too, particularly Ren but doesn't listen to it much because the high BPM stresses him out, avoids a lot of intense classical music for this reason too but still enjoys it.

He shares a lot of common ground with Craig purely because he loves listening to music when they stargaze/hang out together but definitely listens outside of this too.

He cares more about the music theory behind songs than how they sound overall.

He loves playing songs by ear on piano but still reads sheet music for his compositions.

Listens to music on an MP3 player with iPod Mini-esque buttons because he accidently misclicks on spotify because of his tics on Spotify and then wastes his free skips and then has to stop listening because he isn't in the mood for that song (it's a whole ordeal, this solution just works better).

Uses Bluetooth headphones.

Listens to music when he's working in Tweek's Coffee because he will implode if he has to listen to the same 5 radio songs again.

Wendy:

What can I say except riot grrl/ feminist icon music.

Cares less about the music and more about the lyrics of the song.

Is absolutely devastated when (yet another) one of her favourite artists becomes "tiktok" artists, not because she wants to be underground/mysterious, just because she knows eventually the songs will be taken out of context and used to push a misogynistic agenda. The weaponization of "I'm just a girl" broke her.

Her music taste is not what you expect it to be based on her dress/sense but it makes so much sense.

OF COURSE Wendy is a punk fan.

Impulse bought Spotify premium so now feels the need to listen to music 24/7.

Listens to soft rock when studying/reading specifically instrumental.

DESPISES rap and rave music with every fibre in her being.

Will defend Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, clairo etc. to the grave.

Clyde:

Genuinely whatever is trending on social media.

He doesn't listen to music much so if he hears a song repeated enough he just latches onto it.

WHITE GIRL PARTY MUSIC

He tried to make a playlist for Bebe for Valentines day before realising that besides whatever is trending right now (usually heartbreak songs) the only music he can think of is Imagine Dragons and old Ed sheeran songs from 2017.

He gives up because his ego cannot take being rejected because of Ed Sheeran.

Regurgitates a mix of Kenny and Craig's music taste when asked about his favourite songs.

They will never find out.

He wants Spotify Premium but can't justify paying that much considering he doesn't listen to much anyways.

Bebe:

2000's party playlist.

Kesha, Britney Spears etc.

Listens to Taylor Swift but doesn't support her.

Will die for Sabrina Carpenter.

Connected on a soul level to Gracie Abrahms

She chose this genre when she was 7, and will not change it for anyone.

Has a classic disney movie wake up session to music every morning (specifically from Camp Rock).

When she's older she organises the music for most of the parties she goes to and so would rather die than be without Spotify Premium.

R@ndy (I dislike Tegridy farms):

The most classic Dad rock you can possibly imagine.

Also white girl (leaning towards mom) music.

Can recite every lyric to every Lorde (obviously) and Adele song.

Tries to "reconnect" with Stan by listening to music with him while driving, would only listen to what he wanted and was devastated when Stan didn't seem to like it.

Best parenting ever.

Talks constantly about how he was in a band when he was a teenager.

"You know *I* could've done big things with music, but I injured my voice and so could never go pro"

They set up a covert operation. Night-vision cameras. Cass in the ventilation system. Tim pretending to nap in the Cave.

They catch:

• Bruce petting the Batcow and calling her “ma’am”

• Bruce singing Sinatra softly while filing case notes

• Bruce staring at a picture of the whole family with the softest expression ever seen in Gotham

Jason deletes the footage.

They never speak of it again.
