— jason dean headcanons. ──────────────── ୨୧ ──────────────── intro + reqs rules here | reqs open. . genre(s): general headcanons, angst-y | sfw (non-smut). . warnings: heathers typical stuff, mentions of: self harm, mental health problems, abuse, bullying, suicide and smoking. . a/n: he has NO right to be that fine,, why does he look like that 😐 pathetic little malewife ugh. needless to say it's my opinion and y'all shouldn't attack me for it💥💥💥 ──────────────── ୨୧ ──────────────── - bisexual trans-male, he/him (i don't give a single shit they were in the 80's, lgbtq ppl have always existed) - has undiagnosed impulsive and self-destructive bpd, along with psychosis/psychotic episodes. - he's originally from texas, but doesn't have the accent because he lived there for like a year and only interacted with his non-texan parents, so he didn't have anyone to catch it from. talking about it, not trying to be racist but he has like a lot of extended family he doesn't even know. the kind of people to come out of nowhere and tell you "you've gotten so big! i used to change your diapers!" and jason'll be like "bitch who are u???" - suffered from bullying like, all his life. he had always been an outcast and people thought it was so funny to tease him for it or throw paper balls at him. also bc he was such a nerd and people didn't like it. but the teasing morphed into punching him behind school and doing worse things and that's when he started to stand up for himself and fight back. at one point he moved schools and at that new school he was the one starting fights desperately so ppl would see they shouldn't mess with him so he could save himself from bullying. didn't work. - talking about bullying, he never had any friends neither. vero was his first real friend, (i mean, he had friends when younger but they weren't actual friends, and if he ever got a real friend they didn't last long bc he moved constantly) that's why he got so obsessed w her. stalking part is not cool tho... - skips classes constantly and when he does attend he sits in the back of the classroom and stays silent until the class finishes. the only reason why he does good in school is bc he reads a lot ig. - TW: tried to kill himself by overdosing when he was fourteen and his dad won't stop teasing him about it. like whenever he locks the bathroom door he's like "don't try it again, champ!!" and laughs. in addition to it, he started self harming when he was eleven. -> i'm using "freeze your brain" as a base ("when the voice in your head says you're better off dead, don't open a vein"). - probably worked at a 7/11 at some point hehe. - he had a nice relationship with his mom; she loved him completely and she tried her best, but was a really troubled woman and a victim to bud's abuse, so she couldn't be perfect. despite this, jason still remembers her with love and nostalgia. - started smoking at 12-13. his dad knows but doesn't give a shit like anything else in jason's life. - would've been good friends with duke if he didn't want to kill her. moby dick buddies or idk. - is goth. goth is a music and politics-based subculture. i think jd would listen to goth music and share the goth subculture general thoughts and opinions. however i don't think he'd do goth makeup. the 80's goth makeup wasn't similar to today's trad goth makeup but still. - if i didn't hc him as trans, i like the thought that everyone thought he was going to be a girl but was born male (credits :: @raviankaivao) ──────────────── ୨୧ ──────────────── . today's headcanon question; what are your headcanons for jd?

— goth friends ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤbud doesn't like who his son is hanging out with. ──────────────── ୨୧ ──────────────── intro + reqs rules here | reqs open. . genre(s): not quite sure, tbh | sfw (non-smut). . warnings: threats, bad words, almost non-existent mentions of alcohol/alcoholism, hinted domestic violence (jd says he reconsiders fearing his father when...) . a/n: tbh i'm not really sure what i wrote, lol. just let myself go with the flow. i like the idea that jd is goth (since it is a music-based subculture. i headcanon he listens to goth music) and also wanted to experiment with writing his domestic life. so mix those two up and you get whatever this is... if you guys like it might do something else with this is, maybe continue it or make it a larger fic. constructive criticism is allowed. english is not my first language! "I'm going out." Jason announced in the middle of his trip downstairs. He said it as a comment, not in a way of asking for permission. He knew his father couldn't care less about his whereabouts as long as he came back some day and was able to help him at work when he asked to. Bud, who was absentmindedly watching the shitty program their square TV was reproducing, turned to look at his son. He noticed how Jason was putting on that black trench coat of his, and a thought came to his mind automatically. The corners of his lips curved into a malicious smirk and he soon opened his mouth to speak. "Dressing up to hang out with those freaks, I see." This caused a reaction out of the teenager, who turned to see him as well. Bud continued as he slowly stood up from his seat on the old couch, which creaked as he did. "When will be the day you make normal friends, boy?" And Jason didn't like that, because he didn't like normal people. Stupid conformists who only contributed to the corruption of the already ruined society they lived in. The Heathers, Kurt and Ram, all swatch dogs and diet-cokeheads who got off in hurting innocent people like Martha. Like Veronica. Like Him. He questioned for a moment if he could be considered innocent or if the Heathers ever hurt him directly, but innocent (because he was undoubtedly hurt by society) himself or not, his point stood. "Don't wait for me for dinner... probably won't be here." He ignored his father useless comment and put his hand on the door knob, but Bud's silhouette behind him grabbed his shoulder and stopped him. "Who do you think you're talking to, huh?" His voice sounded a bit too intimidating for JD's liking. He swore he wasn't scared of his father, but moments like this, where his grip was strong and his mouth let out a heavy alcohol smell and angry words, he brought himself to reconsider it. "You're talkin' to yer father, and when your father gives you advice, you don't ignore it, Jason." "Let go of me." It came out as pleading despite his attempts to match his dad's intimidating tone. "I don't want to make 'normal' friends. What is even normal anyways? I'm fine with my current friends." And maybe the weirdest of this weren't his friends, but the fact that a social outcast like him had friends in the first place. But he piqued the interest of a goth girl at school when she found him reading a book she liked months ago and she ended up adding him to her friend group. Social outcasts must stay together. "...Be home by sunset, you little shit." Bud said, but didn't let go.
