☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ OFFICIAL UPDATE ON CATSFEST 5.5 AND 6. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Best put in the words of our leader, Storm Boen..... We hate to do it, but after considerable discussion CATS Fest 5.5 has been Postponed until 2019, where we will hold CATS Festival 6, either March or May, dependent on the new Venue. I have put off since 2012, 3 major and extremely invasive surgeries, I have been told that I cant put them it off any longer. I am a very private individual, but all of you deserve to know why I’m doing this. As well as my partner during the festival, Chris Preetorius, his military duties and responsibilities have greatly increased, to the point he had to step away to rightly spend more time with his family. It truly saddens me to do this, as the Festival has grown, along with 5 annual sanctioned competitions, raising an inspirational amount of donated items, and monies raised for CFW and ultimately our deployed troops. We hate loosing this amazing momentum that we have built. Last year was even our first year to have a complete sell out, at 643 attendees, 39% women (something we are very proud of) and our competitions have grown, to even having one of the only Triple Sanctioned Chili competitions! The silver lining is, that all of us have over a year now to plan for CATS Festival 6, and make it the best yet, the ONLY Cigar Social type festival, in the truest sense of the word. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or concerns you may have.
