My name is Alexander, I was born in Moscow 2 weeks before USSR collapsed. I've lived there ever since trying to give my life at least some meaning. This concept, however, does not apply to my blog. It's just some cute/funny/sexy/pretentious shit I've found.

This picture is my favourite.
Most of the time I just point and shoot without thinking up anything, but this one makes a statement (or at least I think so). My life is all about deconstructing/reconstructing myself lately and the picture pretty much reflects the awkward phase I’m currently going through.
The shot was taken when we were renovating a room. This is my favourite state of renovation: nothing but white walls, the room is absolutely empty, and just some occasional tools are lying on the floor, or, in this case, there is a lone ladder with some dirty rag on it. The work is not finished, but the room looks ideal and I keep asking myself whether it is right to change anything. Do I really have to turn this spotless simplicity into something more complex?
The page is blank (again). Now I am free of any engagements. But this freedom scares the shit out of me. Or maybe I am just too lazy to make a decision. I love the cyan of the ladder by the wall. I love the undefined bar next to it. I love the walls, plain, as they are. Complications are pointless, but is development pointless, too?
