I don't often get hospital client calls. Which is very understandable, people are busy and getting their baby's impressions is the last thing on their minds. But when I do, I really tried to work around my schedule and go to them. Because I just love to get impressions of babies at their tiniest sizes! Something I wish I was able to do when my baby was just hours old. But doing it for others makes me tremendously happy too. :) P.S. Newborn babies always cry when their impressions are being taken (like 100% of the time, no kidding!). #minsanlangsilaganyankaliit #hospitalcall #ceramicimpressions

I have discovered this business when my son was still small and I was looking for ways to document his hands as they grow big. I have done his hand print impressions on paper, salt dough and plaster, still I was not satisfied. This ceramic impressions had always popped on my google search but sadly it was not available in the Philippines. I have decided to go for it, I purchased the training materials from the US. After about 3 months of practicing I opened this business. And the rest, as they say, is history. I am taking friends' impressions for their babies, and their whole family and I made more friends along the way. This business makes a lot of people happy, I also get to document my son's hands and so I am happy. :)

These are photos I've taken of my nephew's hand and foot being held by my sister, way back in 2008. I remember that I've always been fascinated with baby's little hands and feet. I find it endearing that at their smallest, they have these cutest hands and feet, so tiny compared to ours. Every child's hand even has an identity of its own. And I love to capture it on photos. And recently with clay. :)

Resigning from my job and deciding to open this business, with all the uncertainties and apprehensions, was a great leap of faith for me. This video made me realize that well, I can't expect to do great things if I don't pursue it. If I will be too comfortable in my comfort zone, then there I will be. Probably not bad, but not great either. :) Follow me to see the struggles (and success!) I am experiencing right now. I'll let you experience the love I got for hand and foot prints impression making!. :)
