After replaying DDD so many times I became curious as to why the MC was on their own so soon after being turned into a vampire? Are fledgling vampires typically left to figure things out on their own, was their Sire killed, or are they more the "hands off" mentor type, or did the MC have a falling out with their Sire and runaway?

Also if the MCs Sire is still around, what would be their opinion on MCs two "suitors"?

For the fledging question, it would depend on the sire.

For the rest of the questions, we let the players determine MC's backstory, and that's including their sire and their past with them, so we cannot answer with specifics.

Random question can vampires have children in DDD setting or are they infertile because they're undead?

Just curious because since Levon used a fake engament to try and keep the MC I wouldn't put it past him to use a Baby Trap scheme as well.

Nope, vampires cannot have kids in this setting.

Out of curiosity how tall are Levon and X?

Because from what I recall MC seems pretty petite compared to them both, but Levon on some route was able to pick up X by the back of his collar like a stray.

Given MC's smaller stature you can comfortably headcanon any height you want! :D Levon and X are similar in height, though X purposefully makes himself look smaller by slouching (around MC). He has to rock that sickly victorian boy aesthetic to have MC feed him cookies after all.

Bought and played Darling Darling...Dead? Over the Thanksgiving holiday and I loved it! The art, the character, the twisted obsessions. So far my favorite endings are Second Chances and Two Hands. So much dark comidic potentail of MC trying to deal with both Levon and X trying to undermine and kill eachother off while all living together 🤣

Althog it got me curious how would Levon and X deal with an MC who's gotten so frustrated with them both bickering they threatened to sew them both together until they learn to get along?

And MC is quite serious about the threat, as much as they love both Levon and X they're completly willing to preform unethical amature surgery on them both if it'll make them learn to get along.

Bought Darling. Darling...Dead and landed up finishing it all in one sitting it was so good 💖I hope you don't mind indulging a few questions on the game?

-Can you let us know roughly the ages for each character, in particular X is a tricky one since he obviously trys to act more young and innocent

-Based on the setting and character names, do you take a lot of inspiration from Eastern European folklore and culture?

-I have to ask but would you consider adding spicy DLCs or just more content in the future? I would gladly pay for any follow up content

-MC was in their early 20s (at least) when they were turned.

Levon was in his late 20s when he decided to marry one of his patrons. He'd served for almost ten years, and he was slowly noticing that his value was 'declining,' given the overall preference for newcomers and novelty.

X was in his early 20s when the witch hunt happened, and close to his mid 20s when MC picked him up.

-Middle and Eastern Europe yes, as one of us originates from around there.

-We could consider making a Spicy DLC, but it will have to be an Itch-only release because Steam will cut our reach because of that.

Also: is that the same maid being referred to throughout the story (like the one Lev is saying he apparently sent us during our amnesiac dinner but we never actually meet)

Nah, this maid is dead dead soon after 🤣 Levon's a jealous person, after all 🤡 MC never meets the maid because X convinced her to swap places with him so he could see MC as soon as possible.

Hi! I'm not sure if I missed it in my playthrough but who's the maid that threw the vase at us? Is it the same maid Lev is referring to when we confront him, saying that a maid told him that we want Lev to throw the parties even though he (and we) didn't want to in the first place?

Well, there's definitely several maids throughout the manor, but no, they're not the same person 🤔 The one who threw the vase is interested in X, and X kills her in another ending. The one with the maid telling Levon that MC wanted to throw the parties is interested in Levon.

I love the Demo so, so much! I can't wait to see more a in-depth history between the characters too. You fleshed (hehe) them out so well--I never even thought about having different POV for dating sims, but it really adds a whole new layer to the story! Keep up the great work! :-)
