Thinking about Chilchuck recommending his daughter replace him. Thinking about Marcille's fear of outliving everyone. Thinking about Marcille staying friends with Chilchuck's family for generations and generations.

i think we should all start using arabic words and phrases more often because its a beautiful language and also theres not really. english equivalents that have the same vibes
theres also the comedy potential of it. you guys dont know the joy of having your muslim friend text you "hopefully the racists in our city will all get sick and cant go to the protest" and you, as a pasty white guy, responding with "inshallah they get covid"
its a one hit KO every time. its fucking hilarious. theres no english word that has the same effect.
he also once texted me that he got over a mysterious illness he came down with (i think? i cant remember the exact context) and i responded with "subhanallah he is cured"
again, one hit KO. he lost his shit.
what im saying is we gotta normalise arabic. its just a language like any other, and it has some great words. its just like saying "thank god" or whatever, but theres so much variety and nuance. its beautiful

Idk who needs to hear this but you don't need "signs" to tell you you're a girl. You don't need it to hurt in your guts either. You can just want to try it, and you should.
In retrospect, many of my memories can be analysed as a sign of being trans. But the key point here is "in retrospect". I didn't see any of that before realising I'm a girl. I didn't even feel dysphoria before realising I didn't want to be masculine.
6 months ago, I just thought I was a good ally with every sign of being cis. If you feel like this and you love trans people and think they're so cool and think being trans is really beautiful, maybe just try new pronouns and a name online. No one who matters will be mad at you for doing it.
Had I seen a post like this, I would've figured myself out 3 years earlier

idk, I feel like almost every single discussion, theory, words of support, or even mention of transness is just for monogender people. people claim to support those who don't meet rigid binary standards but the only trans people that seem to actually matter are the binary trans man and the binary trans woman. with the genderless nonbinary person mentioned sometimes when it's relevant. the binary is what people base their worldview on, their discussions of systemic oppression. there's no room for us multigender people anywhere because we either contradict their ideas or we're just not included because it's inconvenient to fit us anywhere in their theory. men and women are not opposites. there is not just man, woman, and neither (people who you categorize as basically man or woman depending on their association with gendered oppression). some of us are both and you need to consider us when discussing these sorts of things
#im feeling this ESPECIALLY these days#i give my preferred name and pronouns on every fucking form i fill out#and i still get 'miss'd and 'ma'am'd all the fucking time#like no one can conceptualize someone who looks femme wanting to be called anything else?#make me enasni
