while genetics play a factor in a unicorn's shape and size, the average unicorn is of medium build with slimmer hooves. they have skinny tails with tufts at their ends.

genetics effect whether or not a horn is shaped or curved - but this is mostly found in specific family lines.

longer and shaplier horns are generally considered more attractive.

unicorn's magic is restricted to what their innerself can handle - mostly depending on their talent and strength. while most unicorns possess an average amount of magic such as telekinesis, there are more powerful unicorns that delve into magic, or less powerful unicorns whose horns only perform the bare minimum.

the color of a unicorn's magic is most often seen as a reflection of oneself, and this color can change at any time.

ex. rarity's cutiemark is in relation to fashion and generosity. her magic comes in the form of telekinesis and transformation/transmutation. she is able to spin any fabric into a beautiful gown, or make manes and tails something they typically are not. she is unable to perform many magics outside this parameter (such as casting a protection spell or a teleportation spell) without forcibly straining herself and possibly injuring herself in the process

unicorns, out of all of the pony species, seem to have the most consistent vision impairments. many unicorns own a pair of reading glasses.

this, of course, isn't always the case. some unicorns have average or excellent eyesight.

ancient unicorns often had curved horns, longer coats, and beards, but as time went on, these traits slowly faded into what the modern unicorn typically looks like.

Random Headcanons Dating Jun/Chazz

When you first met, it wasn’t through love at first sight, though he definitely noticed you first. You’d probably met through a mutual friend (Jaden) just happening to hang out in the same group together. You were there, he was there; eventually, he noticed you whenever you’d like at one of his rude remarks towards someone else - never you.

His infatuation with Alexis dies down the more he realizes it’s not going to happen, coupled with the increasing amount of time he’s spending with you. He gets to know you first as a friend, though with Chazz/Jun, a friendship can turn into a romantic crush real, real fast.

If you weren’t already aware, he won’t tell you he’s rich. Not unless he’s desperate and doesn’t think he’ll stand a chance he might, but if he suspects you might return his feelings, he’ll leave out that detail, at least in the beginning.

He tried to ask you numerous times, but the situation is almost always comically ruined. Whether it’s by Jaden/Judai butting in at the wrong second, or him stammering and messing up his words.

He tries to compliment you and ask you out properly, but somehow he manages to turn some of his words into insults - he doesn’t mean it!

A relationship with him is fast-paced and stressful. Chazz/Jun is so incredibly nervous on making you happy and being a good boyfriend that he becomes overbearing. You need to remind him to tone it down and relax. He’ll try, but for him it won’t be easy.

He’s quick to get jealous. It’s his own paranoia and insecurities that make him feel this way, causing him to jump to conclusions and anger over silly things. (Think of the cliche scenario, you and Jaden planning out a surprise birthday party for him, and Chazz totally assumes you’re cheating, etc.). However this only lasts in the beginning, so when he feels more confident with you he’ll slowly let go of these insecurities and anxieties.

We all know he’s a real slob, but when he starts dating you he’ll take those infamous highschool “axe showers” and smell like a walking Macy’s perfume department. He’s …trying?

Very show-offy. He’s always like this anyways, but even moreso around you. Challenging random people to duels to impress you, nobody’s safe! He’ll challenge that old lady, that dog, even that baby in a stroller…anyone. Everything is a competition for him because he needs to prove to you that he’s the best, because that’s what you deserve.

Just with winning and competition, Chazz/Jun likes to show you off, too. He won’t do embarrassing things like read a poem to you aloud (Oh, yep. Alexis is definitely your friend at Duel Academy, and she told you all the embarrassing shit he did… you both make fun of him about it). Instead, Chazz/Jun will casually slip your name wherever he sees relevant. Just enough to let everyone and their mothers know that he is yours, and you are his.

So long as you are willing to help him get over his initial problems at the start of the relationship, Chazz will be a good boyfriend with plans for a long-term commitment. If he’s with someone, he sees potential .

So back when I played Duel Links, I ran Ojama World Chalice for a bit. Mostly, the game was won using the World Chalice link monsters, but the Ojamas did win a few games on their own merits.

This was around the time that the Relinquished pack came out, and Ojama's were a weirdly strong match-up against them because that deck struggled against normal monsters in general, and Ojamas were too "weak" to make a decent steal target, but could manage to win the duel on their own if left alone. This scene is how I imagined these characters would act during those duels.
