Taste is subjective but personally I think a huge part of Grusha's appeal can be described via the juxtaposition of him having a pet dog whale he adores and being someone who says "cool", "uncool" and "lame" unironically, which, amongst other things, marks him as the single best person in SV Cast for you to watch Shitty B-Tier Horror Movies with.

TALKING ABOUT HUMA

(Harry Hook and Uma)

So I might get hate for this, (cause that’s what happens when you post your opinion) but I was just rewatching the movies today and felt like posting my analysis of Harry and Uma’s relationship and it’s platonic and romantic aspects...

HARRY

So with Harry, we all know he will (canonically) flirt with anything that breathes but when it comes to Uma, his behavior is different. Yes it’s flirtatious, buts it’s also devoted, in contrast to when was flirting with Jane, Ben, Jay etc... it was just “spur of the moment” fun. But with Uma, he actively wants her attention and her approval. Essentially, he worships the ground she walks on. So it’s safe to say, that while Harry might have other crushes, or flings... he is probably seriously in love with Uma.

UMA

My favorite girl, if my memory serves me right, Uma hasn’t dated, flirted with, or crushed on anyone in the movies or books. Unless you count Ben taking her to the cotillion... but that was just a spell for personal gain, so I don’t count it. Okay, so with Harry, I feel like she sees them as two friends (best BEST friends) who would definitely die for each other... but I don’t personally think she’s in love with Harry and even if she was, she too busy leading the isle and “captaining” her pirate crew to have time for a relationship

ARE THEY RELATIONSHIP PEOPLE?

What I mean by that is, like do I think they would be able to handle relationships with anyone at all

HARRY

I feel like Harry would only be able to handle a real relationship with Uma. Like I said before, Harry is SO devoted to his sea queen, that I feel like, if he was in a relationship with anyone else he would probably feel like he was betraying her somehow and most likely wouldn’t be genuinely happy

UMA

I feel like she could carry on a decent relationship with anyone, but only, ONLY if she wanted to. If she felt it would be beneficial for her, then I feel like she would consider it

CONCLUSION

Harry is in love with Uma and would probably kill himself before he let her get so much as a scratch. And Uma is most likely not actively in love with Harry but would do anything for him and probably has the potential to love Harry in the future if the timing and circumstances were right... anyway, that’s just my take

i literally CRAVE to be a caretaker of sickies, and some people just don’t understand that.
