"Rock n Roll Girlfriend", is a bluesy rock ballad song written to appreciate, support and send love to all the women everywhere. Yes it's another CL love song ballad. I can't help that most of my songs are about love. Anyways, The guy in the story is content but missing love in his life. The girl is a figment of his imagination that he manifests. She is a dangerous rocker on the outside but sweet and in tune with life and love on the inside.

New single “Rocket Ship”
“Rocket Ship", is about a werewolf on a lonely planet who meets a visiting fire hot redhead Earth woman while she is cooking Smores’ around a campfire. The song is a mix of classic rock and blues with an edgy feel. This is the second song of a space opera series I have been working on. At one point I was struggling with the lyrics, and I needed to get out of the house. I grabbed my guitar and hit a local favorite, The Barzarre. I met few patrons and asked if I could try my new song on them. They agreed so I went for it. I played the first verse and chorus for a few patrons, and to my surprise it rolled off a little easier than I thought. A couple of weeks later I finished the song and started the recording process. Sometimes a change of scenery is all we need to help stay away from writers struggles. I hope you enjoy the song. Thanks for listening, and I'll see you on the other side!

Barney Kessell Solo
Check out this solo I transcribed from Barney Kessel's album "To Swing or Not to Swing" 1956.
I was working on trying to sound like him, and I liked the solo so much I transcribed it. It took me a while to get it spot on with the video. I have a copy of this transcription attached.
