imagine shipping the aroace char who doesnt like being in relationships talks about why they dont like being in relationships and is explicitly entirely aroace and turns to the camera and says "i am aroace" and then justifying it with

I have this friend (who is also arospec) that recently got an online boyfriend. A couple days ago I casually told my friend “I love you” like I have a million times before and this time his answer was “I’m not saying it back. I’m saving that for my boyfriend” Your boyfriend who you’ve never actually met before and have only been dating a few days. I’m fine. Amatonormativity and relationship hierarchies don’t destroy my soul at all :’) I’m sorry I can’t love you in the way you want to be loved.

I see a lot of people in the aroace community on here talk about how we should have a pride gradient aroace tag, but I rarely see people bring up the possibility of other aspec pride gradient tags for identities of similar levels of specificity to aroace, like alloaro or alloace. As much as I would love to have an aroace colored tag, I think we’re setting our sights too low here.
