makoxmercenary‌:
(”But they didn’t…”) The other woman responded to herself mentally, in response to the mention of the other woman’s name…if she had that much faith in her soldiers, perhaps it was mis-placed. From her point of view, they seemed a bit…incompetent. At the very least, the blonde mercenary herself wasn’t impressed. But she wouldn’t obsess over the issue…there was another she had. About her demand in high payment resulting in the other judging her for being greedy. It wasn’t worth an argument, however. You need money in order to survive in this world. If she was already rich, that would be an entirely different story. And so for that, she’d also overlook it as well. “…Claudia Strife. Pleasure doin’ business with you, Dimaria. Let’s just get the job done.” She declared before she prepared to set out.Â
It took several days, some of travelling, others of fighting. But the battle finally seemed to be over with the help of the blonde mercenary herself. “Gaugh…h-ugh…” She was exhausted from it…showing wear and tear in her attire. Along with scratches and bruises along her body. She was surprised she was able to withstand this much, considering she herself believed she lost quite a lot of strength…maybe not as much as she thought. She attempted to keep herself held up with her sword, as she could barely stand at this point.Â
After the several days spent fighting together, even if in different area’s, the blonde duo had managed to take over the city. Granted, it was not them alone, however no one would deny that they were the ones who put in the work where it counted.Â
After finishing taking control of the city, Dimaria decided to meet up with the other blonde, to celebrate, alas, from the look of it, Claudia would not be up for it with those bruises and wounds, the poor woman was barely standing.Â
“I would offer some word about victory to you, but as you were in for this for money, I doubt you care much for the celebration of my nation.” It was surprising really, she wanted to mock her for those wounds, as she had clearly thought of the other woman as strong enough to not get wounded against some normal mages.Â
It was fairly pathetic in Dimaria’s eyes.Â
“I expect you will not stay to celebrate? There’s plenty of booty, booze and other goods to keep you entertained for the night.”

“Hm, is that so? Very well, then: What is it that you wish for in exchange for this information you have been so kind as to share with me? Surely, a person of your stature is not without ulterior motives, no?”
“I prefer to keep my motives to myself, I might be exchanging information with you, but that does not mean I trust you with my motives and plans.” She stated, turning around and trying to think. What would she wish from this man? There was hardly anything she could not get with her own power. “Why don’t you just offer something and I will tell you whether it’s worth the information?”

To her, it was obvious that mercenaries would only care for the payment that were promised, yet this one denied her offer. This small thing perplexed the valkyrie who enjoyed warfare a little more than one should.Â
Though perhaps she thought too much about it as the other woman reconsidered, asking for more payment.
“The soldiers told you my name, Dimaria Yesta, the general of the army that reside here, you would best remember it.”Â
Still, what she had offered was more than generous already, and she wanted more.
“Has no one ever told you what awaits the greedy at the end?” She responded, money itself was not a problem in this case, as she had a funding of an entire empire to use, but she did not like the attitude of this woman.Â
“I will prepare your payment, but you will get it only after the job is over.. If you succeed that is.”
@chosenbychronos from: x
“…Mm…” There was a bit of hesitation with sticking to her guns on her previous answer… Why was she actually reconsidering? The money had little to do with it…but she did need a pay check to have something sustainable in her life… She admitted, she always had a hard time turning down the plea of another attractive woman…still. Something about this situation didn’t seem right, fighting for an army? It just seemed…shady…but against her better judgement…she decided it was a gamble she would take.Â
“…I’m gonna need payment…a lot of it. Got it?” She demanded as she officially reconsidered, towards the other blonde, crossing her own arms. “My demands don’t come cheap either…you better be ready to pay by the time this job’s over…um…whoever you are.”Â

“This part of town isn’t a good place to be at this time of night." A pause follows as this causes him to squint towards her curiously. "But that's the last damn thing I should be warning 'you.' You could've easily taken care of all those bastards there, couldn't you?"
He was right, the mage could very well have dealt with the situation by herself without help from a stranger, but alas, he was knightly enough to help the woman with some thugs.Â
At least she did not need to waste her sword on some lowly thugs in some remote town.Â
“Is it that obvious? Then why did you see fit to beat them in my stead? Certainly you aren’t expecting some favor in return?”

“ sorry. no deal.”
“I must ask you to reconsider.” Dimaria replied, as she saw this woman’s cooperation the fastest way to deal with this situation she had been tasked to deal with. The woman’s refusal would no doubt hinder this operation more than one would think.Â
“The offer is not bad by any means, you help us, and I will see that your freedom is quaranteed.”

*: ・゚✧  interrogation starters.
feel free to change pronouns etc as needed.
CALM / QUESTIONING.
“ tell me, what happened?”
“ did you see anything?”
“ what do you remember?”
“ do you remember anything unusual?”
“ please, try to remember as much as you can.”
“ every detail is important.”
“ and what happened next?”
“ and what did you do when all this took place?”
“ what were you doing around __ am/pm?”
“ where were you around __ am/pm?”
“ can anyone verify that?”
“ was someone with you?”
“ and you had nothing to do with it?”
“ and you weren’t involved?”
“ did you see it happen?”
“ did you see who did it?”
“ did you see or hear anything? anything at all?”
CARING / UNDERSTANDING.
“ you seem scared… is that why you don’t want to talk?”
“ did someone hurt you?”
“ it’s okay. you can tell me.”
“ you were just trying to defend yourself, weren’t you?”
“ we can take a break, if you want.”
“ everything will be okay, i promise. but you need to talk to me.”
“ it’s okay if you don’t want to talk about it. but it really would help if you did.”
SUSPICIOUS.
“ there is something you’re not telling me.”
“ i think you’re lying.”
“ you looked away just now when you said that. are you sure you’re telling the truth?”
“ except what you’re telling me doesn’t align with what we already know.”
“ seems to me like you know more than you’re letting in on.”
“ what aren’t you telling me?”
“ who are you trying to protect?”
“ so you really don’t know what any of it means? no clue at all?”
“ they must’ve told you more than that.”
“ you have to have seen more than that.”
“ and you want me to believe you don’t remember?”
“ and you want me to believe you had nothing to do with it?”
“ an accident? is that what you’re going with?”
DEMANDING.
“ i need you to tell me the truth.”
“ i need you to tell me what happened.”
“ i know you’re not telling me the truth.”
“ that doesn’t line up with the evidence. so… you wanna try that again?”
“ stop lying. i already know that’s not what happened.”
MAKING A DEAL / ASKING FOR HELP / DEMANDING HELP.
“ what do you want in exchange for this information?”
“ i’m listening…”
“ you’re coming with me.”
“ since you’re the only one who knows how to find them, i don’t really have a choice but to take you with me.”
“ fine. i’ll take you with me, but if you try anything…”
“ i can’t give you that. you know that.”
“ if we’re going to make a deal, you’re gonna have to ask for something a little more rational than that.”
“ okay. we have a deal.”
“ sorry. no deal.”

Late Night Wanderings Sentence Starters
“What are you doing out this late?”
“This part of town isn’t a good place to be at this time of night.”
“Now what’s a pretty thing like you doing in a place like this?”Â
“You do realize what time it is, right?”Â
“Where are you going at this hour?”Â
“The sun isn’t rising anytime soon, you know.”Â
“Do you know where I am?”Â
“The city looks different at night.”Â
“This street is very dark…”Â
“Why don’t you come stand in the light?”Â
“Are you lost?”Â
“I got turned around in the dark…”Â
“This isn’t the time to go wandering around.”
“Only fools and trouble come out to these parts at this hour.”Â
“Looking for trouble, are we?”Â
“A little late to be shopping.”Â
“Just coming back from the bar?”Â
“Think any of the pubs are still going to be open?”Â
“Trouble lurks around every shadowed corner.”Â
“Woah! I didn’t see you there!”
“Where did you come from?”Â
“What are you doing here?”Â
“A bold move to show your face here in the shadows of night.”Â
“Go home.”Â
“It isn’t safe here at this time of night.”Â
“You’re being watched.”Â
“What are you doing still up?”Â
“Looking for something?”Â
“I like walking when the streets are empty.”
“It’s dangerous to walk at night alone.”Â
“I know where I’m going.”Â
“The trees are kind of spooky…”
“Did you hear that howl?”Â
“Was…was that an owl…?”Â
“This path is scary at night…”Â
“The woods is no place a __ after dusk.”Â
“Oh you poor soul, wandering lost in the forest under the new moon…”Â
“You can’t see the stars from here…”Â
“This is the witching hour.”Â
“Dark beasts lurk here. Be cautious.”Â
“Stay on the road!”Â
“Talking a midnight stroll along the beach?”Â
“The ocean is so mysterious at night…”Â
“What brings you to the pier at this hour?”Â
“What dangers lurk in these dark waters, I wonder.”Â
“You’re going to get yourself lost one of these days.”Â

Returning Muse
Due to a certain virus that shall be left unnamed I have more time than ever, so I’ve decided to return to this muse that has been silent for quite a while here in tumblr.Â
FT fandom might be dead, but I accept roleplayers and muses from all the other fandoms as well. OC’s are welcome as well. I’m quite lenient and chill when it comes to these things.Â
So! Reblog or Like this post to have a chance to interact with Dimaria Yesta, The Valkyrie and vessel of the God of Time Chronos, from Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail.Â

wanblismusehub replied to your post “It still makes me laugh that Natsu traumatized Dimaria so bad she went...”
Are you planning on keeping that in your blog’s canon?
Definitely, but I do have an au where she remains as the normal Dimaria after Alvarez Arc. Honestly I see great potential with the farmer plot

“And the God does not view demon as a charming conversation partner.” Despite the fact a fellow member of her team was a demon.. Two in fact, while one was a dragon.
“Did you have any other wise words? My time is not exactly free.”
#dxmonic-moons#This actually reminds me of that Dimaria/Irene/Wendy thread we had going in discord#shame it never exactly got going
