Rathalaugust 2023 (catchup) day 30: Narwa & Ibushi

I really enjoyed the ecological implications of the final hunt of Rise's base story. Narwa arrives and the mated serpent elders are together at last, but you've just finished thrashing Ibushi to within an inch of his life. After gracefully circling each another one last time, Narwa suddenly finishes the job. Now wielding her own thunder powers and the wind powers absorbed from her mate, she turns her attention to you as Narwa the Allmother.

Was this just an act of opportunistic desperation, or does this species typically perform sexual cannibalism? Narwa's egg sac lights up with eggs in the fight that follows, so I assume we're meant to come to the latter conclusion. We've had mated pair violence before with the Seltas and Seltas Queen, but that one generally just makes me laugh instead of giving me complicated feelings. :'1

One of our many wonderful workers at GrizzCo. had submitted a drawing of what they believed to be is a new type of Horrorboros, similar in appearance to the other Horrorboros that was identified a few weeks prior. However, with this one, if spotted, it's recommended you evacuate the workplace immediately they said.

'With this giant, stinky fish comes powerful, dangerous electricity it can simply bend at its will'.
