Also notes from speaking to an architectural designer aswell as early iteration sketches of the climbing wall in my building.

More massing models created to explore the theme of spiral architecture. I looked into designing a curved building that would support the central sports hall almost as if the sports hall was the heart of the building. Also two models focusing on the design and shape of the sports hall and the roof garden that i wanted in implement for taking away ground space by elevating the building.

Building design has changed from two towers to a cohesive piece of spiral architecture. I decided to change my design because I wanted to create a building that is more fluid in access aswell as the spiral shape gives more opportunity for better views further emphising my learning from watching movement

My brief is getting a lot clearer. Pictures show my work towards a building that centralises activities for the sake of learning from movement just like how you learn in sport.

House O by penda showing fluidity as well as motion illusion in in the structure through the use of timber planks to create a way to see partialy into and out of the building almost acting like a membrane. It also tackles the enviromental concern of too much sun as the timber acts as sun breakers. This is deffinitely something i look to adding in my design聽
