Blades 3 Chapter 2

Just a heads up that Chapter 2's book club might not be posted at 1pm (EST) as it was this week and should normally be.... this time, it might be posted later in the day. I'm hoping that won't be the case but I'm working 7am-9pm Monday and Tuesday (regular school + parent conference season before and after). I'm hoping if I read tonight, I can get the polls together a little bit monday and tuesday when I get home but if I'm too exhausted (which I fear I will be), then it'll be Wednesday afternoon. Sorry!!!

Do you guys have any recommendations on any fanfic authors or just other choices fans to follow? Haven't been on Tumblr and on Choices since 2018-19. I've been rereading OG Choices books right now and slowly moving towards more recent releases but I'm very excited to explore the new books.

Our little fandom has definitely shrunk significantly since then, but we are still holding on! The people that are here are wonderful and very talented. I hope you are able to find some new and even old accounts that are still active to follow!

If you are interested in Blades of Light and Shadow, you can check out our MC profile list. There are a lot of awesome MCs and users who have created them.

We just finished an It Lives in the Woods book club so you can check that books MC profile list to see creators who are interested and creating for that book.

I would check @choicesficwriterscreations to see who is creating on a daily/weekly basis.

You can check @choicesfandomappreciation. We just had a Spread Kindness Event that celebrated creators in the fandom.

For Pride related characters and creations, definitely check out @choicespride. They are an amazing resource for events and representation in the fandom.

@choicesmonthlychallenge keeps a list of all the current and upcoming events. You can check in with individual events to see what you are interested in and creators who are working on those events.

As I said before, I wanted it to be different. We all already have character profiles, so I didn't want any of the normal things I put in these because I didn't want it to be repetitive. So I'm hoping these are a little different and can be done in addition to your current/established character profile.

The darker brown is where you'd type your answer, I just put random phrases to hold the place for now.

Let me know what you think. If there are any tweaks you'd like to see, if not, I'll post it tomorrow!

What does “a legacy to remember” mean? I think I need an example or something haha

It means like what does your MC want to be remembered for when theyre gone. It was inspired by the ending of the first chapter of book 3. I thought it was just something different that could be used to get to know peoples MCs more.

As for an example, I haven't thought Daenaryas out fully yet but for my OpH OC Olivia, she'd hope her legacy reflects her compassion for all people and her commitment to improving children's medicine and supporting efforts to end pediatric cancer, the world is a little brighter because of her.

I hope that helps. I can definitely rename the section if the title is throwing it off.
