Welcome to The Crown and the Flame Book One Book Club!

This Book Club is open to ANYONE and EVERYONE. You can participate as much or as little as you want. We will play a new chapter every Saturday, beginning April 12. However, late entries are more than welcome if you are unable to play on time.

And the winner is... The Crown and The Flame!

TCATF won the book club poll over The Heist: Monoco by one vote! I think this was the closest poll we've had in a while, so if people are still interested in THM in the summer, it could be a future book for sure!

I have not chose a start date yet, but I'll try to make a choice in the next day or two. It will either start this Saturday, April 12 or next April 19. My guess is it will be the 19th, but if I can get things together, we can start April 12.

The people who were more vocal about which book they wanted, all chose THM so I'm not sure who will be joining but I'm excited to find out.

Since I don't know who is playing, if you are one of the people who voted for tcatf can you let me know what you'd like to see in this book club? what are you hoping I keep from past clubs or do differently? TCATF is different than other books we've done so far since we don't have a customizable MC so MC related questions are out for this book, so what would you like instead? You're welcome to message me, reply to this, or leave a message in the inbox (anon is fine), I just would like to hear from some of the TCATF readers so I know how to plan for you!

Will there be a new poll with top books or no?

The current poll was supposed to be the final poll before the next book club.

However, I know it is a very close poll between the top two books (TCATF and THM) and depending on how those who voted for Kindred would choose between those two books, it could considerably sway the vote.... I'm not opposed to a 2 book final vote, but I don't know if it's necessary.

Thoughts?

Also, If I made a final poll should I wait this one out? Or start a new poll at end of day today with the current top 2 books, so we can start the next book club sooner?

I randomly selected 10 Choices books and used Wheel of Names to pick 5.... I will choose the book winning at the time when I make the next poll, which will be before this one runs out, most likely.

The next book club won't begin til the middle of April and take place on the weekend (either Saturday or Sunday). I've put all the books on individual polls (please vote on those as well) but I wanted to put them up against each other. This isn't a decisive poll just to get me thinking what book(s) are rating highest. There will definitely be another poll with less options (maybe top 2 or 3 to vote on)
