My Top 10 Favorite Video Games of all time (2022)

Note: This list might change in the next couple of years.

1. Samurai Warriors 2 Empires (PS2)

This is one of the best game I have ever played. It was so addicting that it made me cut classes back at high school. The reason why I love this game so much is because it is a mix of hack and slash and strategy based gameplay. Throw in the legendary Japanese warriors from the sengoku era with astounding voice casts and you have a very enjoyable game that has high replayable value.

2. God of War Series (PS2, PS3, PSP)

I remember when my brother bought a new Playstation 2 slim and slipped in the God of War 2 disc. And we were like damn that game is sick. The graphics were lit and the gameplay was astounding. Also introduced us to one of the most badass video game characters of all time, Kratos!

3. Brigandine Grand Edition (PS1)

I have played and replayed this awesome strategy based game numerous times. The graphics is a bit dated but the gameplay is timeless. The US version of the game which was the Legend of Forsena, was incomplete because the developers did not include the ultimate final boss which was the evil Bulnoil and the world serpent. I was very glad that the fans of the game created an English translation of the Japanese version. With that, I was able to fully finish the game and replay it over and over again.

4. Grand Theft Auto V (PS4)

Another GTA game on the list and this one is definitely one of the best games I have ever played because of a lot of reasons. The graphics in the PS4 were phenomenal, the storytelling and the missions and also you can get to play three characters in the game. I can't even imagine the amount of work that was done in order to bring this game to life. Rockstar really knows how to make an amazing game.

5. Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MOBILE)

I only added this to the list because of the unhealthy amount of time I spent playing this damn game. I sort of have a love-hate relationship with this. I love this game because it has great gameplay, its crazy competitive and it has a great library of characters.

6. Suikoden 2 (PS1)

This is an awesome RPG filled with breathtaking storytelling. The coolest feature of this game is that you can meet up to 108 characters and interact with them as you progress into the game. Freakin cool.

7. Wariors Orochi 1 & 2 (PS2)

A crossover between Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors? This game is EPIC! Enough said.

8. Smackdown Here Comes The Pain (PS2)

I have played a lot of WWE games but I believe that Smackdown HCTP is the perfect wrestling game. The gameplay is fast paced, the roster back then was stacked and of course the season mode is mezmerizing. I could keep playing this game and never get tired of it. Best WWE game of all time for sure.

9. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (PS2)

I enjoyed this game so much. Following the dramatic story of Carl Johnson is a cool experience. The missions were intense, fun and challenging. After I played the game, I could mess around with the game's cheats. All around legendary game.

10. Tekken 5 & 6 (PS2, PSP)

Tekken is my favorite fighting game. There was a time where I only played Tekken for a month or two. I kept memorizing the move sets and combos for my mains. I kept abusing my controller with my brutal button mashing. It was always a fun time whenever I got a chance to play this and I could still play this now even when it is 2022.

Why I love Lofi music

I remember the first time I listened to lofi music. Back then, I wasn't that fond of it and I felt empty whenever I would listen to it. I guess to me, it was just an ordinary track of music without any lyrics. I didn't quite get why it was popular back then but listening to it overtime made me change my perspective toward it. In other words, it grew on me.

I started downloading Lofi songs and a bunch of ambient music from either Soundcloud or Youtube, and then I would listen to it everyday back in the year 2015 when my family and I were residing in Bicol province. Ah yes, those were the days. Thinking about the times that I would ride on top of the jeepney while listening to calming music brings me chills. The soothing wind caressing my thick skin, the sun's morning light shining upon me and the serenity of the music in my ears was one of my favorite experiences in living there simply because of the peacefulness and tranquility of the environment.

Now in year 2022, lofi is still one of my favorite genre in music. I listen to it while I study, relax and even while I sleep. If you have never listened to lofi music before, you should give it a try. You might fall in love with it like I did. 🤙

My current favorite author is James Patterson. I read three of his books back in 2018 to 2019 and I loved the quality of the storytelling. His style of writing short and precise chapters always tempted me to flip the page over. If you haven't read a James Patterson book, I highly recommend it. You will have an awesome time.
