Would any of my moots be interested in an RDR2 roleplay server?
We're a small little group that roleplays but we also play games together and other shenanigans. It was mostly created as a way to stop people from using sites like character.ai etc and to be able to connect with other people to rp. The server is also 18+, but that is because the game is 18+.

"Faith"
Sometimes I wonder if Dutch intentioally chose to use the word "faith" when asking the others to believe in him.
The word "faith" is defined as "complete trust or confidence in someone or something" and while it can be used in many contexts, it is mostly used in religious ones, so much so that when googling the definetion you will find the majority of them to reference god such as "have faith in god."
Not only that, but the word also has more power to it and more meaning. It is a level above trust and belief as it holds more blindness, it is complete and unwavering as well as more reserved, you don't see it used often nor as lightly.
By using this word he is indirectly asking for blind trust that won't waver no matter what.
Dutch is also described as a messiah, a saviour, to the gang. Even those words are used often in religious context for important people and he goes live up to that. He distances himself from the others physically and mentally, placing himself above them and one of the ways he does it is by using these words normally reserved for religous figures. In that way he subcountiously creates this image of him being a god, and he has done it so well that even his enemies describe him as such.

apparently rockstar said Micah was drunk in American venom and that's easily the funniest fucking thing I've ever heard.
It does kinda seem like that honestly, I'm not sure how true it is but Yeah. That checks out. Man misses like every single shot and he is wayy too chipper for someone who definitely knows these people came to kill him.
Their timing is perfect though like showing up to kill the worst person you've ever known and he's just fucking hammered. He gets shot and he's like "oof haha" that's a drunk guy response. 100%.

Oooooh Arthur’s “Little Johnny Marston” antagonize line gets so much more depth once you know Jack is actually named John. Arthur isn’t just treating John like a child, it’s probably what Jack was called when he was a baby. An extra layer of ‘look at what you lost by ditching us.’ Quite a few of the antagonize lines are about Jack and the way John had been an absolute bastard lately. It makes perfect sense for this to follow that same trend.
Like sure, they could have called him Jack from the start. But John disappearing when Jack was still a baby would have given Abigail the opportunity to erase him completely by changing the name before Jack could learn it. And John gets to come back to a two year old that’s walking, talking, and the name John never entered his vocabulary.
