As soon as Jake's mind sprang back into action, he fired several shots at the beast, following Tavros's lead. The animal squirmed a bit didn't seem that much affected by the bullets. Realizing this, Jake shot it some more in synchronization with Tavros's stabs, causing the creature to choke up a bit of blood. However, it wasn't entirely wiped out yet, somewhat shockingly.

Jake nodded and sat up as well. "I suppose we should, he responded, attempting to wipe some grass off of the back of his shirt. "This was truly lovely, though, Dirk." He smiled at him lovingly before standing up.

Jake rolled his eyes. “I am not that stupid! However, I guess it would be nice to tell you some stories of my adventures if you really would like to hear them..” He shrugged and kissed Dirk again.

The beast turned to him, and Jake was struck with a slight fear judging by its size, but also a prominent sense of adventure. Despite the menacing appearance it had, Tavros seemed calm enough and so he remained frozen in his spot, his eyes waiting for the feline to make the first move. He didn't dare break his gaze with it out of fear that it might attack. His hands flew to his guns at their holsters, hovering over them to prepare for any sudden movements.

In response, Jake nodded and decided to survey their surroundings as well. Looking around, he had to agree with Tavros on the whole birds and insects deal. His guns still attached to his utility belt, he tried to be as silent as possible while keeping a sharp eye out...
